I agree!! I think we are similar and love to have fun 🤩 You can say that about yourself 😆😆 So glad we got to do this together to help people find good cheap curriculum!
This was our first year to homeschool and since I was inexperienced and thrifty myself, we decided to use Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool and we love it! Next year, since I do have a little more knowledge about how to get curriculum cheaper and what curriculum is out there, we still will use Easy Peasy for a few subjects but adding in some different ones. Can’t say enough great things about Easy Peasy! I was thrown off by the name too, but it’s only easy for the teacher/parent, not on the students! Very good, biblical and challenging curriculum and I have been super impressed! Thanks for your helpful videos!!
Oh we have a big goodwill bookstore one town over from us. It’s only a 30 minute drive. We are going tomorrow! I never thought about looking there! Thank you!!!
I used easy peasy this year for science, history and some electives. It was great as a first time homeschooler while I was figuring out math and LA so I didn't feel as overwhelmed buying things. There is a lot of info and we learned a lot but it is pretty dry and requires a good amount of work from the parent to condense and organize and make entertaining. We won't be sticking with it but I'm grateful it was there. It also isn't as easy to do family style as it says because the info in the levels can be very different at times. But it has great links to videos that I will be planning to use to supplement my science and history next year, especially some of the videos from modern history. We are going to use some of the electives again as we weren't good at doing them this year so I want to give them another shot.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s nice to hear how it works! That is great that it eased you into your first year homeschooling. I hope you find something great for your family to use this year! Thanks for watching!
I'm always on the lookout at thrift stores and have also found great books. All the homeschoolers around us know I'm interested in buying their old books so they always let me know what they're not going to use any more 😊📚
I just printed The Good & beautiful English. Heck why not! I did get Master book as well. Double English lol. I love thrift shops. Ours sells everything at retail price.
I've been watching your videos for a while and never commented before , but this time I had too Lol . You show my favorite book when I was in elementary; the mommies book. I was obsessed with that book Lol. I hope one day I can find that book so my kids can read it as well. Anyways awesome video!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
I’m sure it depends on where you live. I am blessed to live where homeschooling is pretty popular so I usually can find a good bit at our thrift stores. But keep looking! Smaller quaint thrift stores tend to have more homeschooling stuff than Goodwill does in my experience. Hope you find some goodies soon!
It’s rough! Yes, my sister in law thrifts for us down south (we live in Maine) she shops thrift books stores and all the goodwills and thrifty places and.....seriously without her...we would be in a heap of trouble! Thriftiness is best!
You never know you might start the trend.... People usually donate at places what they find out those places. When someone starts donating certain items. People will put it on their mind to donate the same and then 💥 bam!!!! you may have a thrift store that is so homeschool friendly and it will be amazing!

You and Ashley are my favorite two homeschool youtube channels, so I'd definitely say you're similar! 😊
Aww thank you! ❤️
I love easy peasy! It’s helped me & my daughter who both struggle in English so much. I’m learning right along with her.
That's great!

Yes! It’s hard to believe they offer it free! I hope you love it!
Ugh, so your thrift shops are kinda high priced? That’s a bummer!
Finally a homeschooler like me! It gives me anxiety watching other channels where they show you how much money they wasted!
Yay for thrifty homeschoolers!!! So glad you found my channel! ❤️
I wish our thrift stores were that cheap!! That's awesome!
We really are blessed with amazing thrift stores!
Girl I do the same! I love sharing my thrifty finds!!!!

That’s so great when you find exactly what you want at the thrift store!
Yes! It’s. It’s a good way to point to God and make sure your kids see you give Him credit! ❤️
I need thrift stores in my life! I'm always excited to see what you find.
You do!!! I hope you find some! ❤️
An Epson Ecotank was the best thing I ever bought. I use so many free and cheap pdfs now.
I haven’t joined the Epsom Ecotank club yet...but I’m tempted! Lol. I’ve heard so many good things about it!
Thank you for sharing this with us.
I’m so glad it was helpful! 😁
