Thanks for posting your Thudufushi videos. Do you happen to have any videos or photos of the house reef? We are considering Thudufushi but there is not much recent footage of the reef. We’d be interested in knowing about the coral recovery and also general fish life, especially the ‘bigger stuff’ (sharks, rays, trevally, etc). Thanks!

we snorkeled the house reef mostly only did a night dive at Thudufushi opp beech bungalows 10-20 roughly. i have still photos of congers lobsters and sleeping fish but sadley no go pro footage as no video lights. overall i would say its good bellow 5 mtrs for snorkelers as higher stuff has been used should we say by not carefull snorkelers. the diving there is superb emboodoo thila for one is walls of corel i have 3 more dives to publish ime on with one now Dega Thila pls subscribe for more when i release. secondly we have been to Arthruga 20 yrs ago Thudufushi is BETTER FOR DIVING !

Mantas are in our winter we cant do that as school holidays and cost in high season nov -march.
No mantas in our summer
You can see wrays sharks small ones turtles luck of the draw snorkelling but diving you will see all bar Mantas
We did see large sharks rideing DPV as they are deep and in the channels out at sea. See my DPV video but you need to be a diver and trained
The driving is expensive with idive
My advise learn to dive here first before you go alot cheeper and you can learn in a pool
Ive been a diver for 35 yrs vast experience it the best place to dive
