Everybody always talks about Azula and Zuko’s Agni Kai vs. Ozai and Aang’s battle, and they’re both GREAT, don’t get me wrong! But if you WANT me to cry, just remind me about Sokka and Toph on the airship and how Sokka knew Suki could take care of herself and he HAD to take care of Toph because she couldn’t see up there and how Toph knew she had to let him despite letting people help her has always been a struggle and how she trusted him entirely as he was dragging her on top at full speed and then just fine see I did it I’m crying.

The part where they fall and Sokka breaks his leg, but STILL scrambles over to Toph to protect her, using his own body to shield her...😭 It's just so freaking amazing!!!
That has always been and will always be my favourite scene from the show and one of my favourite scenes of any show or movie
I love how that moment is the end of both of their character arcs. Sokka becomes a leader and has a team that fully trusts him and Toph trusts in her team mates and learns that she doesn’t need to be alone.
I love, love, LOVE all the parallel scenes you used here! You interwove so many different relationships so well!

Awwww so sweet, I loved all the parallels you used in the show, like Toph punching/laughing with every character for example. Well except the romantic parts but that's me. Was really heart-warming and wonderfully edited.

When I was watching this show as a child I never noticed the small details or anything like that but now when I rewatched it I could cry with all the characters on how Sad their stories are, I am really in love with the ending but I am crying over the fact Azula didnt got her redeption arc since she was just completely broken inside 😔

0:36 *sigh* as much as I love Aang, this moment is hard to reconcile. Yeah he’s a kid, but I feel like if he loved katara as much as he says he does, shouldn’t he have respected her boundaries? He kisses her without her consent RIGHT after she said she was confused. (Referring more to the kiss on ember island more than the one before the invasion, Altho it could be applied to that too) but yeah, Aang, buddy, i know you mean well but you don’t kiss ppl without their consent. I know he’s young, but it’s never resolved. He never apologizes for that which bothers me. And I love Aang, I rly do, just Kataang makes me feel weird bc katara is like his mom figure or older sister and like I said, aang’s still just a kid. There’s a pretty large maturity gap between them. Ugh sorry, I didn’t mean to go on a rant. I love Aang and Katara’s friendship tho! It’s rly sweet! Like a brother sister dynamic, (which is why kataang feels weird to me rip) but their friendship is so wholesome and I’m glad this edit showed the strength of friendship and family, both blood and found. Beautiful editing, it gave me chills and made me tear up not gonna lie ❤️❤️❤️
