Hi Dave totally frustrated while importing a STEP assembly file into Creo assembly...The file was created using NX but while importing in creo it shows import validation failures...What could be the cause of error??? the same STEP file but importing in NX is not showing any error...moreover in creo itz taking more time to load for the same PC configuration ...I don't want to compare Creo with NX but this is my experience....Any tips???
Is it opening in Creo? Import validation errors aren’t a big deal. You can even turn off that check in the Notification Center. I can’t tell you why some STEP file I’m unfamiliar with is giving you errors. And you can’t compare load times for a native NX file with an imported STEP file. If it’s really an issue, open a ticket with PTC Tech Support.
@@CADPLMGuy I finally opened the file in creo...But only worried abt the time it took in creo.... Wanted to work with the rest of assembly with Creo....But not sure even if I save the file with simplified representation (Automatic for sub-assemblies) it is taking more time to load...
Well, you're dealing with non-native geometry coming from the Parasolids kernel. This is the problem with multi-CAD. (I did a video for PTC on it.) Do you have Unite? If so, you could try opening the native NX file in Creo.
Wow, you make that look so easy! I just found your channel and you have great simple explanations. Thank you!
I struggled for so long.. Thank you!
Thank you sir. Very much helpful all tutorial. Please keep going on
Thank you, Satyanarayan. I appreciate the feedback.

It’s available in the PTC Help (along with other files).
Sir please share how surface copy to paste in another window please share the video
Make sure that you're not using No_Preview option for Import or the IDD icon will be grey/gray!
Interesting.
