Maybe with the open circuit and updated valve rankings, regional slots for the major will finally be done away with. I'd rather see all the top teams play at the major, rather than a worse team who only got a spot just because they're not from Europe (and I'm American so this would probably end with less NA teams at the major). With an open circuit all teams have the same opportunity to qualify/play every event so I don't see why major spots should be limited by region if there is an open circuit.
It's nice to see teams from different regions play but that's what smaller tournaments are for. The major should be open to all the best teams regardless of what region they're from, if the 17th best team from Europe is better than the best team from NA/OCE then they should get the spot they deserve.

G2 should have definitely go for Inferno. That decision to play ancient was super weird and suprising. And may very well cost them the major final.
2:18:20 I don't think this is %100 accurate, sites are easier to take as T's because most of the time you get situations where you full exec as 5 T's against 2 or 3 CT's. In a world where you trade into a site and make it a 3v3, or 2v2 then on the retake CT's have no man advantage like the T's did, making it harder to take sites as CT (as well as the depleted utility from the rest of the round). But I think sites like A on ancient have dynamic options that T's don't have (Temple+CT) that make it more challenging for T's to maintain site control in retake situations, and that leads to more retake potential.
An idea that I had for A site on inferno was maybe making a hallway in library that leads to doorway in graveyard or pit, similar to temple. Of course I'm just trying to directly port what worked from ancient into inferno, and I'm not sure if that alone would make it too easy or how it would play in actual competitive play, but it could help make retakes easier.
Complexity probably need to swap Floppy/Grim out, they just aren't consistent enough. Hallzerk is inconsistent too but he is really the only other player that semewhat shows up internationally. JT calling and fragging has been more than fine imo.
A big problem with staying in NA is that most of the current top players have horrific attitudes. I am currently top 1k and most of the top players I meet in pugs are full of ego and negativity. The complexity guys play pugs often and know how bad a lot of these guys are. NA has built a horrible cycle where older players refuse to mentor or teach younger players and it really sets the region back because we don't have as many active players as EU and Asia do.
If they want to stay in NA, they should take a look at Jeorge and JBa, two guys that are grinding hard and seem to be decent people. They could also replace all 3 including hallzerk, and find one NA player and a european duo to slot in. There are a few really talented duos (deko/KENSI from Aurora comes to mind right away) where you would gamble much less on the talent, but you would also need to requalify for everything as a new core.
So was "Cheaters are their no. 1 priority." sarcasm? :D I didn't understand if they talked ironic.

why cant there just be a football-esque league table split into 2 semesters and the top however many get into the "champions league" aka the major and then there are different cups(tournements) surrounding the league

Can think of four real ways to fix this smoke thing.
1. Extend the molly into the smoke - everyone would hate this
2. Make the smokes blocked vision reach out further than the player model is - would nerf pushing through smokes
3. Make the smokes more rectangular - ruins the idea of smoke in CS2
4. Make the edges of mollies nearly block vision themselves
Anti Cheat is their top priority? It should be their only priority at this point

Furia is not worth talking about, their goal seems to be sticker money plus sponsorship money. I do not think anyone can make a reasonable case that they are trying to be competitive. It's a waste of everyone's time. It's a misery to watch, I had to start skipping their games.

Anti cheat will never fix anything. Not as long as the user owns the system that runs the anti-cheat. The barrier of entry needs to be higher. There needs to be id verification and a monthly payment that has to be paid before the first verification to bring up account prices. Then manual demo reviews by paid workers that train server sided ai anti cheat. So essentially a cs go competitive subscription.
+ 20 minutes for the stage incident , bro it isn't a big deal , nothing happened , this is a show with a large crowd , things like this always happen in football , music festivals ... etc . idk why is ynk so bothered with this , is it bcuz of PGL specifically ? bcuz they didn't do particularly bad in regards to this . All TOs have arguably the same set-up when it comes to security , trophy placement and crowd control ; If the crowd wants to get into the stage they will , u can't stop ten people let alone thousands .
L take, there is a reason this doesn’t happen at other sports anymore, like chad said, up the security, lift the stage, push to prosecute the people who rushed the stage, the pros and talent don’t ask for this, they aren’t our friends or enemies, they shouldn’t stand for this happening. Player and talent receive horrible threats daily, if that happens enough and you see a guy running towards you, you will think the worst is about to happen.
Just because all TO’s have the same set up, doesn’t make it right.
People have been saying it’s not good enough since for well over 5 years. It shouldn’t have taken this to happen for things to change.

I still don't understand how Navi won and I don't even feel anything about it except for disappointment , at least when VP (Outsiders) won Rio , it was something you can see once we were in the playoffs , they had a known system and their pieces were preforming to a good level . Navi excluding Wonderful has no Solid system , just an average EU international meta playstyle , no stand up map , it feels like they fluked their way into a major win in the best playoff teams we had in terms of ranking in any Major .
Navi wasn't even the best team , If they play right now against Spirit , C9 or Vitality they'll lose , JL isn't even the 2nd best player in his team , he shockingly outperformed .Flukest MAJOR win ever .

- C9 and Spirit both defeated them in this event and Vitality is a stronger team obviously .
- That's what over-performing means, you mor0n. For this event, JL performed higher, but on average, Wonderful and B1t are the better players.
- My monitor can easily be fixed, but your brain and face, on the other hand, are another story.
Sometimes i wish the complaints would be like that of Dennis Reynolds from the show "it's always sunny in Philadelphia" where his issues are relatable and can be played off as a gag..but Chad's are straight up childish
