Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 сер 2021
- In this Better Human Better Dog episode, I help Millie, a 7 month Doxon who has a bad habit from eating trash off the ground.
Can Millie's owner, Brittany, lead Millie through this final test?
It is important to start in calmness before entering a situation.
Always control the nose, if you guide the nose the dog will follow!

Thank you all for watching! Let me know what you think of my new show! Blessings.
I love everything you do. I recently lost my beautiful girl last October, she was almost 17. I never spent more than 3 days away from her. I loved spending time with her training. She was so good at everything and really seemed to understand what I was saying. She was a Miniature American Eskimo and her name was Jasmine. I miss her so much 😢
Is there anyway to train a dog to never bark? I use to work at a dog boarding facility and after four years of constantly being surrounded at times 40 dogs who just bark all day I can't stand any barking. I am also sick and tired of being jumped on scratched, and growled at and being drug across yards because owners are too cheap and lazy to train their dogs. I am getting to the point of never owning my own dog.
Looking good! Keep doing what you doing and being true to yourself and your mission. Thank you!
Practice, practice, practice! Eventually your fur friend will achieve the almost impossible.
I really enjoy your new show and am trying to apply techniques with my little Teddy Bear. ✨ 🐶
In all episodes, whenever a dog senses Ceaser is in the surrounding.
" Ohh boy the super alpha is here I better behave properly now".
Lol so true!
Cesar is Dog's (and subsequently Human's) Best Friend! I learned SO much from his book/s and shows, which filtered in to what became my dog-specific business, and changed the lives of thousands of dogs and their people for the better! Over these past 17 years, and an international recognition, I have met MANY dog trainers, with varying philosophies, to say the least, yet I can confirm through experience that Cesar is truly the very Best!
Better Humans Better Dogs ♥️
Hi Cesar, I love your new show, Better Human Better Dog, I would like to see more episodes dealing with dog aggression toward other dogs, even those unfamiliar dogs you invite into the home. Keep up the good work.
@DOGMAN3161 Hey man, just watch Cesar 911 or Dog Whisperer. He covers dog “aggression” toward other dogs in SO many different scenarios. Remember most the time its not the dog, it’s us. If we’re not calm, confident and assertive leaders enforcing rules boundaries and limitations, the dog takes a role he may not be meant for. So re-evaluate your situation, watch those 2 shows I recommended and work from there. I promise that some small changes will go a LONG way brother. Good luck!
@@joeytoperez4521 Amen!
I suggest changing the title because it doesn't show anything other than walking the dog. We get nothing that leads up to this, so it literally is not a "How" video.
Exactly!! Kinda click baitey
agreed
Oh girl I know How you feel about the walking part took my little dauschaund over 3 months just to walk on a leash they're stubborn but they're so loving and kind would never trade him for the world good job Caesar😊❤
Mine is 7 months old. She still won't walk on a leash. I've tried everything. 😕
@@jeaninesahulka1707 shes only 7 months give it more time... try walking ur dog with a spoon of peanut butter. and then switch over to holding a treat on ur hip.... both will help ur dog with walking on leash.
Cesar probably had that costume in storage for YEARS just waiting for the opportunity to use it lol
Why would you assume that
@@charliechuckles5579 I'm kidding.
@@Kap00rwith2os oh ok, I'll let it slide this time
😁😂🤣
@@charliechuckles5579 cause he has some imagination.
i love everything you do training humans has to be the most difficult job in the world as many watch they still repeat bad behaviors with animals because their mind wasnt reset before progress could be made again thank you for your contribution to humanity
This pups little squeals are ADORABLE!
The hotdog costume made me giggle 🤣 awesome content Cesar 😉👍🏼
same
"I'm a Mexican hot dog" 🇲🇽🌭

Cesar‘s hotdog costume at the end made my day 😂 thank you!
Bless Up Family! I Love You! You make us all Better❤️💛💚
Could feel her stress. And could feel your calm confidence @cesarmillan ! Thank you for sharing
As a new Pet Owner learning so much from your Video's Cesar Millan, Thank you very much for creating such informative videos.
That was GREAT!!! More great advice! Thanks, Cesar!!! Much love & respect! ✌🏻💚🙏🏻🐶❤️
Trained humans balanced and happy dogs💗
I always learn something from your videos!
thank you! my dachshund does the same. ate, glass!!
don’t have a daschshund but mines keep eating outside, it makes me mad
My dog loves plastic! ESP water bottle tops. Throws it up later. Then she got hold of a squirrel carcass. I was so mad. I said “drop it” and she did. Since then i keep her close and she I see trash I pull her head up. Sometimes I tempt her and don’t pull her head up but she leaves it now. If she grabs something I say “Drop it” and she does. She’s a smart dog but as a puppy she was terrible 😎
Dachshunds as super stubborn and strong willed as shown in this video. Your will has to overcome theirs. I wish I knew that when my doxie was little. Good job.
what a lovely lil lady 🥰
HAHAHAHAHA THE HOTDOG
Glad to see you having some light-hearted show biz fun Cesar. 😃👍💕That was pretty relaxed.
Amo este show 👍🏼😃🥰
I love it and you, Cesar !!!
I'm not surprised how Cesar Millan conquers every dog owner, to take ownership over their stressed lifestyle.
Well done Brittany the proud mum of Millie.
Love love your silliness!!
Cesar is superb.
I love your new show Cesar, I just love having you on my TV again and UA-cam too.
Cesar is the best 🤘
Your the best. Thanks for all the help. May. GOD bless you my friend.
Hello Mr. Millan. HAPPY BIRTHDAY I see that we have the same birth date 27 Aug. Of course I have 25 more years on you.
I noticed on your speech that you make great effort to speak correctly, and correct yourself if you think that you have misspoken.
When I came to this country, it was also important to me. France, in 1951 was not popular since the war was not far behind. To fit in
one must learn the language but try to keep the heritage that is left behind. I was not so lucky. I was forbidden to speak French and had to change my name to Nicky.(No one knew how to spell it correctly for a girl). I had to learn my own language and discover where I had come from.
Enjoying the new show. We are all older that when you had the last one. Please continue the good work. Nicole from Menlo Park, CA
Whenever I am in a bad mood, I am going to try to remember Cesar in a hot dog outfit, saying "in this case, I was pretty serious"
You are a Bomb of Concepts!!!
Best Trainer Ever!!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Love that weenie success momentum!!
I wish I could spent half an hour with Caesar and my 7 month old dachshund. She won't walk on a leash and eats off the ground too. So frustrating. He makes it look so easy.
most frustrating thing ever. ive been watching a bunch of vids on both and it seems like nothing is really working
Yes. Nice to know how to stop our dog from eating trash. From Texas
Thank you for training us people to be able to speak and work with our animals from a different perspective. Forever grateful thank you for making these videos. Do I have to be part of the pack like membership wise for asking any questions and to have the questions answered?
Good job Cesar
Sweetest puppy ever.
1:13 Ahaaa! recognizing that is the first success step
Yay, Millie!❤
She is so cute!❤
You're truly amazing Cesar!💕
Love the costume!
Walk in the park 🌿🌳🌭🍃
Cesar your best !!
Amo tu alegria
Cesar's black on black ninja look is on point!!!
I can’t wait to get a mini doxie ☺️
Wow I'll be sure to take all of these amazing tips and tricks and use them to keep my dog from eating everything in sight😂
I love the outcome but would like to see steps getting to that point. I have a male shih-tzu pup that won't stop eating his own poop.
Exactly!! Showing just the outcome isnt helping anyone. The steps are whats important and needs to be shown
I think feeding them pumpkin deters that. I googled it
Stress. Are you stressed? Seems like these dogs are picking up anxious vibes from the owners.
@@jacksmith2315 I think it’s in the actual show, so we’ve got to watch the full episode
I have a dog who is part Shih-tzu and he did the same as a puppy. I knew he would outgrow it and he did.
CESAR !!!!
Yes my 6 month old 3 pound chihuaha already mastered this she no longer picks trash up thanks cesar/ bilingual here 🇲🇽/🇺🇲
So great!
Lmao Cesar 😅
Smashing video!
These videos are so incredibly helpful, thank you Cesar, thanks to you I've have a dog friend for life for 11 years 🙏
2:20 A nice success 👍🏼👍🏼
I was not expecting Cesar to return in a hotdog costume! Lol.
The mexican hot dog omg i love it!
Love you Cesar, however, I don’t c any info on how to stop this behavior. I enjoy watching your videos u teach w/ love & humor. God bless. Loved your costume. 👍😎😘
Exactly. Nothing at all about stopping the behavior. Thats what ppl need to see. Not just a dog walking not trying to pick up anything
Being not anxious, being calm, directing the dog's nose away from the ground, loose leash and just a 1 second correction on the leash when she's not obeying, practicing calm confidence. So much here! Watch again and practice. Milly was anxious because of the stress from the owner!
@@sandrabentley8111 this makes no sense at all. Being calm is going to keep my dog from eating a piece of food off the ground?? Lmao no. I couldn't be calmer walking my dog and he finds food he's going to eat it. There has to be training steps which are obviously from earlier in the episode and not shown here. That's what is missing. The whole point of the video was supposed to learn these steps.
He did amazingly with this client. She had zero confidence
Love u sir...u r great.. sorry no words to explain my heart...😂😂
This is nice
I don’t know how the algorithm works but just few hours back my four month old lab was eating trash off the garbage can and I was wondering how to train him to not do so and here I am!
I have a wirehaird dachshund mix and he also snatches food/garbage from everywhere and its so dangerous. He has almost choked to death 3 times while getting garbage off the ground not to mention the toxicity of some thigs he eats. Serious compulsion issue.
You are the winner 🙂
Some dogs really are like vacum cleaners😂
Cute!
Hi Dear Cesar !!
Thank you for your return on Sky Italia !!!
I am happy !!!
CIAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
Cesar, please make a video of how to save yourself when facing an agressive dog. especially agressive neighbors dog.
You see the dogs look at the costume? LMAO
🐾🐾
no spiderman stand ? lmfao
Cesar ur the best!!!!! I used to watch ur shows @ channel 9 on Sundays I miss them tho! 😫
Weiners should never eat trash, nor should any dog. Fix the human, fix the dog.
Saw this when it aired and was confused like the dickens when Sophia started doing the same thing...
Was like WHAT kinda vibes is she emitting to these dogs that they're eating random trash indiscriminately from the ground
Hi Cesar!! When is the new show available in the UK?? I can’t wait to see it! Big fan x
I fostered dachshunds and they are so stubborn. So cute but so stubborn.
Hi sir Cesar I'm a new subscriber and love watching your channel on how to train a dog
Hi, Cesar. Just about to adopt a 2month plus old male BM. Hope you could give me some pointers how to train it properly. Our front yard is kinda small, approximately 2x4meters only. Obedience, discipline and some tricks. No budget to send him to professional trainer. Thank you. More power to your kind acts. From the Philippines.
I say,”icky icky “ as if it’s the worst thing ever. Works like a charm
Pretty sure you're dog doesn't know English
Hola cesar peron que esten bien
Amen
Whose a good dog; Millie's a good dog!
My dog does exactly the same thing, there's not a minute I can relax when walking her because everything on the floor goes to her mouth, specially geese poo she loves it lol 🤢, I don't know how to make this behaviour better! It's so dangerous for her and annoying for me. Oh yeah! Sausage dogs are stubborn and barkers but so lovable I wouldn't change mine for anything. Gracias por tus tips Cesar, he aprendido mucho de ti.
Well if you wont change your dog for anything I guess she will keep eating trash off the ground
@@lisamac8503 I wouldn't change my dog for anything else in this World even if she would be a poo eater, luckily she is a grown up now and learned not to pick things from the floor ( not always but most of the times lol)
Hi cesar or any1 who can help me what type of collar should i use on my 7 month German Shephard puppy a head collar or prong collar? Thanks!! Any help is appreciated!
that’s right i’m a *mexican hotdog*
0 bad dogs 100% BAD OWNERS
My dog does not eat trash but! If its sand or dirt watch out! He just gets into it as if his treat. So stoping on dirt or sand to talk with someone he will go for it. I worry not sure how to stop this behavior. His other behavior is making holes in blankets. What a mom to do.
As a Mini-Dachshund breeder of 20+ years, they are asking this dog to defy her DNA. They are scent hounds and their world is lived through their nose. Now eating it is a different story. They need structure to know not everything goes in the mouth. Even when hunting they are taught the difference. I've used Cesar for my entire breeding career. He has never failed me. But this was a tough challenge for the breed.
Gorgeous
Hi, I was just trying to train my german shepherd dog (6 months), but she bites me really hard and today I had two wounds bleeding from her teeth. I tried the food controlling methods but when I walk or sit with my hands exposed, she bites my legs and hands. unfortunately, if she didn't stop biting I will have to give her away :"
3:45 There's technically 3 there weenies not 2, Cesar 😂😂
Like Bravo
Hey Cnsar, could u please give me tips on my 11 month old German Shepard dog, He barks when ever we take him on walks its really embarrassing I even tried 3 shock collars but they don’t affect him everything I could and when I try to book a training class there all booked out I have no choice, Please give me advise! ANYONE
I have a sausage dog and he gets scared when we walk him on the leash. Don’t know what to do. We have had him go to trainers, on anxiety medication. We are totally lost. Would you make a video about that?
Mexican hotdog lol
What do you do when you catch your dog eating socks, plastic, trash etc and they just inhale it the second they see you walking towards them? She will run away until she finishes eating it when she knows she’s not supposed to and we can’t catch her. We keep the floors clean but she gets on the counter and any table in the house when we aren’t in the room and grabs whatever she can and eats it. Getting really tired of giving hydrogen peroxide but thankful we haven’t had to take her to the vet yet. She’s a 9mo old 25 pound Aussie and golden doodle mix. I’m assuming the Aussie part is the problem, because I’ve never seen stubbornness or just plain disregard of discipline like this with any of my dogs in the past. She knows better but chooses to do it anyway. Even resorting to spanks just makes her want to play. It’s truly unbelievable
