Fun Fact: Simon Farnaby, who played Barry the Security Guard, co-wrote Paddington 2 and Wonka with Paul King! He even plays another security guard-ish role in Wonka
Such a lovely film! I love it so much - if there’s a Paddington 3, I would expect it to live up to these established standards. Hugh Grant crushes it! The scene with Paddington going through the cogs in prison is a direct lift (homage, inspo et al) from Charlie Chaplin’s 1936 silent classic, “Modern Times,” which I recommend for everyone. Chaplin invented the sad, lovely, romantic character, “The Little Tramp,” so influential in movies to follow for the next century.

This movie is like comfort food for me.
It always improves my mood.
Remember being DRAGGED to see this at the cinema by the kiddo. And ended up really enjoying it!

There is, it’s called Paddington In Peru and it’s out on 8th November (in the UK anyway, not sure on international dates).
Great movie and great reaction Ollie. Thanks.
I love it, too, Oliver! 🐻 I can't wait for you to see WONKA (2023), as well.
You should totally react to the New Wonka movie as I said previously it's the same creator who made The Paddington movies aka Paul King.
Now watch Babe ❤
