For anyone that's stuck on the asset archive when you click on the asset archive in the SMPCTool, click extract all then when it tells you to select a file your gonna wanna go to the files that you opened for the game and click on the first file(Asset Archives Dir) then you should be able to access the PC Tool.
NOTE: A New Tool was released that can install BOTH smpcmods and Suit Files. It's called Overstrike in Nexus and it's much easier to use than the two tools in this video. I myself still use these old tools since I make Mods but if you just want to install some mods then Overstrike is much easier.

They need to be in smpcmod format. I usually put all my mods into one folder then on the mod mamager click add find the folder and click on the mod file
@user-vk8vw1ev3g when you download mods from nexus the files should already be named name.smpcmod with name being whatever the mod is. If the file you want to use is not a .smpcmod try renaming it when .smpcmod at the end

Didn't work because the parts you left out is the part causing the issue. It says "select asset_archive" I select that folder and it says it's no valid so can you actually explain please as you've literally left out the issue I need answering...

Just leaving this here for people who had the same problem I had, if when choosing the asset archive it says "toc file missing" scroll down and there is a file called "toc" and a file called "toc.BAK". Delete the one called "toc.BAK"

@stabz2985 make sure you installed and ran the files it required like the one he said would restart your pc, you need to run those. Also I'm pretty sure suit files are t compatible with the other mod files so there's just a heads up

@@tjrose8522 i had to go to task manager and then under marvel's spiderman, it had "select asset archive" so right-click, bring to front, and then manually select asset archive
Bro a question. My pc is windows 10, i5, 16gb ram and nvidia GeForce 1660 super. Will Spiderman remastered run? And will it run smoothly with great visuals with lagging....
I have windows 11, i5, 8gb ram, 1660 super and I run it smoothly with minimal frame drops. You just have to tweak the visual settings a bit because it was very laggy for me at first.

Delete toc.bak (or .bok,idk which is right spelling) if that doesnt work, select toc instead of asset archive

When I hit "Mod Manager" and hit Add and go to the file with my mods in it, the file for the mods don't show up. Any ideas how to fix?

same. Figured it out, right click the RAR file and press show more options then use 7 zip to extract should be smpc file.

You'll probably be able to run the game at somewhere between mid and high settings with 60fps at 1080p (maybe 1440p I'm not sure).
