HIi Jeff, this is Randy the one you are referencing here in this video. Dylan and your wisdom/advice is awesome. I only wish I would have known about you earlier. Thanks for all that you guys are doing!
Have you had big improvements in your whitetail experience so far? Trying to decide whether or not it’s worth investing in having the team come out for my little skinny 15 acre farm.
Again Jeff and Dylan a great amount of information on how to make any property a excellent whitetail property. thanks again guys for sharing the knowledge you have. I hope everyone sees the advantages you are showing on these videos.
Great on the small acre parcels. I have 10acres, 360x1200 I live in the very front portion. Very little to no outside hunting pressure. Property goes about 40yds into a big woods across the back with blackberries and medium high brushy throughout with very rolley ground. I've slowly over some years have added 3- 1/4 acre plots and such. I've never seen so many busy trails before all this. Great information with your videos. And always trying to improve tuning things up. Thank you Jeff and Dylan for some great videos...
Loved this video Jeff! Planted your Perennial Power Plot 2 weeks ago before a rain and it looks awesome! Your advice on mowing and chemicals was just what I needed to hear. Planted your extreme switch along my property line about 1/4 mi. Can't wait to see what it does. You and your channel has helped me so much. Thanks you Jeff and Dillon.
Been following your videos for years and just had a chance finally last year to begin implementing it on my new property. I shot my biggest buck to date! I have a long 22 acre property similar to what’s show and have studied the deer movement. I’m making a winding path parallel with my border to enhance deer movement. Some of this path they already naturally travel
Hey Jeff, I’ve been watching your videos for awhile and I love them! You’re such a great teacher in conveying your knowledge of land development. I was wondering if you would make a land design video for bigger parcels like 200 acre+. I haven’t seen a video for bigger parcels yet and it can almost be more complex than small ones. Thanks for the content you share, keep making great videos!
Hey Jeff. I have a brand new request for you.. it’s a heck of a challenge for you but equally as fun. Can you do a video on how you would lay out your (first) UP property if you had to do it again but with your approach/understanding you have today? The big wood, non destination, erratic circuit folks are hungry. Thanks for what you do.
Hi Garrett...I can do that...it would be the exact same way tho 😉 These concepts I have used have been honed in for decades! One of the most critical is just having hidden food that you can still hunt with a bow if small enough and with a gun if too big...but easy to access around without spooking deer. And then a large, hidden area where deer can hole up...
@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 I love the confidence stated there. You carry yourself well Jeff. The big question, I couldn't answer from the book, is where to locate the destination food source, and how big is that (knowing in a non-ag area the draw to a quality supplemented food will be big). Cant wait to see it. Thank You!
I like how you mentioned to cut through giant piles of timber or tops that you cut down so deer can get through it, otherwise you make a portion of your land useless. I don't think some people realize to do that.
Another awsome small parcel video. Hey jeff i have 21 acres and about 5 acres of it is all hill and cant do much with it. Some of it is grown up with autumn olive and briar. What would be best to do. Plant a bunch of trees and bushes to thicken it up. Or plant more native grasses were i can. Now some of it is to steep to even get a atv on to spray
So I live in central Ohio most of my land is woods as well as the land around me. any openings are shaded. anything I can plant the will grow in the shade.
I have one of these long skinny plots. Any suggestions on how to set it up for bowhunting to minimize the odds of deer running off the property after the shot? I hunt it regularly and successfully during muzzleloader season, but generally avoid it in archery season due to concerns about losing them to non hunting or selfish neighbors.
That's all a very tough one! It purely boils down to how far away you are from the neighbors and the terrain. Not much you can change, other than some kind of blockage behind your stand location and along the fence line. You would want it maybe 100 yards at least...50 yards on either side so the deer have to go a long way out of their way to head in a direction that would lead them to your neighbors...
These design videos are BY FAR the ones I learn the most from
That's great to hear Dan, I really appreciate you watching them!

I really like your small parcel land info! Keep them coming, Jeff, something like this is probably something I will be purchasing soon.
Nice Jason and you are very welcome! Good luck with the search!

Would love to see a design video similar to the 80 acre parcel you described on HUNTR podcast where you have to food support both ends.
I have a county road that runs through my property. I feel like this video meets the need of that smaller divided portion of my property.
Hi Angelo! Often I look at the two pieces on either side of the road, as 2 separate parcels. Which works very well!
Great stuff Jeff this really helps!
Thanks Adam that's really great to hear!
I love these small parcel design videos. I wish you’d cover some applicable to me in TX where we have cattle land and no ag
I needed that, Thanks 👍🏻
You are very welcome!! I really hope that it helps!

Jeff, i have a similar property 41 acres about 35-35 useable hunting, im in big woods with no ag should i try to implement the same idea?

Could you make one of a 5-10acre size with swamp and cat tails that butts up to a road?
Do you ship seeds to Canada ?
I wish we could Nick! We may try again this year but Canada makes it nearly impossible. We've spent a LOT of time trying to work it out...
Thanks for replying. Ya Canada is a mess right now. Great content as always jeff
😁🦌
Hope you like it Connor!
