This is why I love Japanese culture, they care about the younger generation and do things to help them succeed. You don't have to be 'family' to nurture the younger generation.
Incidentally, in the world of traditional crafts, I see artisans passing on and fostering traditions and culture to those who wish to do so, regardless of country.
Many Japanese people are happy when they see foreigners wearing kimonos.
It is nice to see foreigners interested in Japanese culture and traditions. 🥰
By the way, kimonos also look good with boots and can be worn in a modern way.
Japanese people reuse kimono, so we make wallets and purses from beautiful kimono scraps.
I would like people from other countries to freely enjoy Japanese culture and traditions on their own.✨
ちなみに伝統工芸の世界でも、職人が国関係なく希望者に伝統や文化を継承したり育成したりしてるのをみかけますね。
日本人は外国人が着物を着ているのを見ると嬉しくなる人が多いです。
海外の方が日本の文化や伝統に興味をもってくれるのは嬉しいことです🥰
ちなみに着物はブーツも似合いますし、モダンな着こなしができます。
日本人は着物を再利用したりするので、美しい着物の端切れでお財布を作ったり巾着を作ったりもします。
海外の方にも日本の文化や伝統を個々人で自由に楽しんでほしいですね。✨

Also the highest depression rates are in Scandinavia and France is also the country that use the most antidepressants.

やはり、屋台は福岡市の文化なのですね。

De nous jours, on est envahi par les racailles et les raclures qui n'ont rien de français à la base mais qui viennent pour le RSA et la carte vitale ! Lui au moins c'est un vrai français qui donne une image saine de la France ! Etre français c'est pas uniquement être né sur le territoire français.
Etre français c'est aimer son pays, le respecter et en adopter ses coutumes.

Even the street foods in Japan are top notch. The place is clean and tidy and the food looks delicious.
the law and regulation is really strict when it comes to food stalls in Japan. That’s why not many food stalls remain in today’s Japan. Most moved to food truck and docking in pop up events rather than stay at a regular spot.

Working on the streets, outside as the sun goes down, shops close, restaurants and bars open; it's magical ! The life of the city goes silent for a moment and then wakes back up suddenly with a burst of lights and laughter and traffic noises. What an experience.

I have utmost respect to the people that still keep this traditional Yatai bunka alive. The law for this kind of Yatai in a designated spot is a real headache. It’s really stringent and the regulations are down to the last minute details. You messed up one and your license gone. Best of luck to Jeff, hope to stop by Fukuoka again sometime in the future.

And to think he thinks his Japanese will get better! Meanwhile I thought he was fluent bc of the intonations, Good accent and he only used a handful non-Japanese words the whole conversation lol. He must mean reading and writing Japanese, which I do believe is quite challenging!
he might be white but i think he is already Japanese inside. I think he wanted to be Japanese and fully embrace the culture way before he even went to Japan. I wish him nothing but the best. it is rare to see the likes of him that is willing to perservere with such passion and joy.

Such a great thing was done with Mr Jeff working on this stall with a father figure as a boss. His Japanese is so natural and just like any other fellow Japanese person. 子供の頃は地元にも屋台はあったけど市は取り締まりばかりして屋台文化は無くなってしまった。
福岡は市や県がルールを明確にし、屋台文化を守り共生の道を選んだ。 すごく英断だと思う。
