There was so much truth in the Tend story😂😂. Most of the times you think you are going to safe money but almost every time you end up wasting money. Just to upgrade at the end 😂. Obviously sometimes you waste money but you never know
This is great stuff! Thanks for sharing. I'll use some of your ideas. And your wife, she may not say much, but she's lovely. And she loves camping too. Lucky guy, all the way around. 🙂 One question. Did you have to do something extra to the Raptor suspension to handle all that weight without sagging? I'm getting a new vehicle in 2025, and am leaning towards a 37 Raptor and putting an RSI Smartcap on the bed, a popup tent over that, though I am considering a Diamondback HD bedcover instead of the RSI, streamlining the rooftop tent on top more, but concerned I won't have enough storage, so we'll see. Oh, I did just see a vid the other day of a customized Yukon AT4 suv, lifted 3" higher, 35 tires slightly offset, and all the stock suspension replaced with high performance offroad suspension, that got my attention so I am thinking about that too, then I'd just put the popup tent on top and need no bedcover or bed cap. We'll see. Wish I could jump in that cool lake right now. Lol. I love that Starlink. Could truly take my home office fully mobile with that one.
@@Nate-zy5ce It didn’t with the added weight on the back. Feels like it did when I bought it. I would do it again. Also, star link is awesome, highly recommend.
it would be wise to run a relay for that light bar in the front, the wiring is fairly simple and its just a little time consuming, use the the switch as the trigger for the relay.
I've been looking at that exact tent and have the original ACS like you do, but I think the awning I have sits a bit higher and I'm worried that the opening angle might interfere with it. The starlink is super cool kit! I would give you grief just like you said on your video but if you're running a business or whatever that's reason enough. I would definitely sacrifice a bit of my vacation to do work to stay on vacation a bit longer. You mention a dirt bike but man on a lake like that an old stand up jetski would be absolutely perfect!
Just run an appropriately rated relay for your light bar as 1 & 2 switch are only good for 15A. Nice setup, I have a 2019 802A Ruby Red Metallic Supercrew and want to set mine up for overlanding, I have all the Baja Design lights, 5 gallon water purifier like you have, however I still need everything else. LOL! Only 35,xxx miles on mine Great video!
Big fan of your channel. It's funny because we both have very similar builds, and have made many of the same gear choices. My rig is a Platinum F-150 that I 'Raptorized' (Fox shocks and 35's). Anyway, with regards to the Fridge/battery duo.... I have the exact same setup. I love the Jackery but I've come to the realization that the 1000 is undersized mated to the 75qt Dometic. If you move each day, the truck keeps it topped off; once you go 2 consecutive nights without moving, it's a problem. I have 2 of the Jackery solar panels, and even with good sun, they cannot keep up with that fridge. I was thinking about upgrading the Jackery to the 2000. Thoughts?
Thanks man. Your truck sounds awesome! This was the first time the Jackery didn’t keep up for us. Still wondering how it would have done if I hadn’t left the Starlink running that first night. Bummed to hear the second solar panel hasn’t kept yours topped off. I’m sure the Jackery 2000 would do the trick but an expensive upgrade. Might be the only option though. We’re headed back to the river one more time, I’m taking a small gas generator to keep everything from draining since it’s just a beach camping trip. Still planning to buy the second solar panel for our trail trips though.
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel Expensive indeed. One of the things Jackery addressed with the 2000 is speed of charging, and capacity for more solar. So we’ll see. I’m only just getting into comms now, thinking GMRS. Any advice? I’d rather not have to get my master’s in ham communications.
Hi mate, can you tell me the model name of the roof tent and left side cover like a big umbrella thing? And what’s the name of that internet signal receiver?
You need a Sea Doo switch. It’s a sweet pontoon boat jet boat! Cool setup and dam those snakes!
Some kind of boat or jet ski would be sweet!
Beat raptor set up I’ve seen 😊

Thank you! I added +4 deaver leaf springs for the added weight!
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel Did that change, lessen the drive quality at all, the comfort and smoothness of highway drives for instance?

Fantastic video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it

You probably figured this out by now but the Starlink has a “sleep” feature that turns the dish off for whatever period of time you indicate.

Nice truck man! They make such good overlanders. And yeah, I should have used the harness that came with the light bar..
Thanks for sharing your build. Some questions: 1. Ballpark for entire build including the truck 2. MPG with all that weight.
Thanks!
Everything I’ve done and you see here including the truck has me right around 81k invested.
The MPG has been around 14hwy average.
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel That’s actually not bad at all. I was thinking over 100. Thanks for the video and the reply! All the best!
Have you weighed your entire rig yet with a full combat load?
"Alright heres the ikamper sky camp mini idk whatever" lmaooo #$4000 dollars
"its the big ikamper" 🤣

Miss your vid’s
Thanks buddy.. I miss making them during the summer months. I need to film more outside of the Glamis content.
What's the toilet ya got?
I don’t recall, got it off Amazon though. Simple setup works great.
What front bumper is that?
Addictive desert designs!
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel Thanks. Just started building my leadfoot raptor for overlanding and I love your setup.
how did you mount your fridge slide to the bed?
Pre drilled and used medium sized self tappers
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel even the bed is aluminum with all that weight it holds well?
Yeah it’s held perfectly, no issues. Just pre drill small and use good sized self tappers and you shouldn’t have an issue. At least I haven’t.
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel what length self taper screws did you use?
“Took the snake out” … hope you didn’t harm the rattler , YOU were invading his home.
Oh shut up 🤦🏻♂️
