Because not everyone is overly concerned with warranty. Some people would rather not be held hostage to the rules of warranty and modify their vehicles how they see fit. This customer wanted this package on his car, so he went for it and enjoyed it. Plus we offer full maintenance on these cars and the customer would rather we carried out the work than main dealer. Simple really.

Not a lot really. A dealer can press for a void over the smallest and most insignificant modification. Or they could overlook a major one. Comes down to what you are claiming warranty repairs for and if something you have fitted has directly effected said area. If it hasnt, and they argue it, then it is about how far you want to fight them. Long story short, if you are worried, then don’t do it.

Incorrect. If you are referring to the decat pipe, this is exactly why you tune it. This removes the chance of a CEL ever coming on.
Some 6,000 miles later, you will be glad to know it hasn’t come on once.
