The second video offering and collaboration from GONZO and maverick Melbourne based filmmaker Guy Tyzack. Videodrome pays homage to the pioneering "body horror" filmmaker David Crononberg and his feature film of the same name. Guy Tyzack’s visual imagining of GONZO’s composition is one that is lathered in the stylistic flair of the interplay between the physical and psychological aspects of horror. Exploring themes of humanity's hyper-normalised and often obsessive use of social technological platforms this collaboration delves into a paranoid universe of visceral bodily transformations, robot aerobics and leather jackets. Billy Twyford, more commonly known or recognised as the enterprising and enthusiastic force behind Melbourne Punk out-fit 'Disco Junk, appears here alongside GONZO in his debut Videodrome.
