When I first saw this anime, it reminded me of a story that I wanted to write. The beginning was similar where a princess was kidnapped. Then a young man saved her, but he was the reason why she was taken. He wanted to get close to the royal family for his revenge.
At least the actress sounds like a kid for once. props to her

My favorite part about this isekai is when they immediately dropped the thing that made it unique.
Because why shouldn't every isekai play out exactly the same?

@@Luke-ky5edI think OP is implying that there isn't a unique hook. But that's just it, it's an Isekai, so it's going to play out like one. Just as a Noir will play out like one, an Action series will play out like one, etc.
Though I see a spark of uniqueness in that only the memories of the guy got transferred and the "new" body is still himself, but with the knowledge of our world.
Some random kid bring them the missing princess and there first conclusion is that he kidnapped her what kind of logic is that!
Rio did save the youngest Princess, but nobody ever believes him and nobody doesn't want to be his friends and he's having a very sad beginning
The reason no One believes him and wants to be his friend because he's not royalty
