I fly with Virgin Atlantic in premium and I think it's worth it. My only criticism is that at Heathrow airport, the staff sometimes don't even know what cabins they have. I was at the gate and there was a queue for upper class, premium and economy delight. There was a separate queue for the other economy seats. As a premium passenger, I went in the queue for premium. However, a member of staff started shouting at the passengers, "This queue is for first and business class passengers only!" People were obviously confused and moved to the longer economy queue. I stayed in the shorter premium queue and asked the lady if the I'm in the right line for premium. She said I was. I guess having a different cabin system to other airlines caused that one guy a bit of confusion.
@@VincentJHChan I’ve checked a few similar VT reviews and some boarding gates, more the States, seem to be a free for all, irrespective of Upper, Premium or Economy…?
@@OriginalHandprint That may be the case for the States but at London Heathrow, the queues were clearly marked out separating upper, premium and economy delight from the rest of the economy seats. Same as when I was flying back from Hong Kong.
Best Virgin Premium review I’ve gone through 👍🏼 Good to see information on seating comfort as well - most reviews are takeoff, food and landing on here!
Another great video. I think Premium economy is worth the extra cost for the extra space, comfort and priority boarding. I also like proper cutlery and crockery. We flew back from LA Premium economy in June and we've booked Virgin Premium economy for our return flight to LA in April.
I’ve been traveling on VA between Miami and LHR for about the past twenty years. I mostly use Premium, but occasionally I’ve been lucky to travel in FC using points. The crew are always friendly and professional. The extra legroom is always nice traveling transatlantic.
I've noticed that they usually fly these old A330s to more expensive destinations in the carribean and africa. It's weird how a premium class ticket to new york on a brand new A350 cost less than an economy ticket in an old A330 to Lagos. After several experiences in the A330, i don't think it's worth speding that much money for a severely outdated experience.
Thanks for another brilliant flight review video Jamie (with bonus airport sneak peak - definitely looks like a good place to start your journey home 😊). It's a shame the food didn't quite meet the billing and the cabin got too hot - if those had been right we imagine this would have been a brilliant flight 😊 Great tip about the price as well! We didn't know that could happen and will definitely be checking in the future!
Pity you didnit appear to show the pages for the full menu. That morning was that the only selection available? I mean no full English? Thats really poor for Virgin. Was that flight direct from Barbados or was it coming from Grenada? If from Grenada they have more than enough time for a turnaround - even if running quite late to blame missing to load the catering. Hope you made a complaint and got something back
Let’s experience Virgin Atlantic’s premium cabin together! Is it worth the £££?

@@VincentJHChan oh no one likes shouting when it’s the company who are confused!

I agree - it’s worth the extra ££££ for the extra comfort and little extras experienced
Great video, we just upgraded to premium and selected seats 19 A & C so it was great seeing the actual seats 😊
Fantastic news! Have a great flight

I would agree had it not been for the fact I got an amazing deal 😂

I like Virgin Air, but never done anything but cattle class. The seats look comfy. No bacon rolls???? shock horror.

There was nothing else to show
Great video!
Much appreciated 🙏
The table looked like a workout 😂
I made a right meal of it
What was your seat number on that Virgin Atlantic flight in the premium economy
Hi - you’d need to look at the vlog - it’s mentioned there but I don’t remember / wouldn’t remember without rewatching
