    Your Datum is the CSP. Everything is coordinated around the datum (CSP) your example show leg 1 going to the datum then passing through.

      This is correct, the datum on water drifts so it is used to track the search.

    Each turn should be 060° to have an equilateral triangle with one of its tips the datum
