    • Christopher Dunn & Ahm...
In this podcast, we had the pleasure of speaking with the engineers Christopher Dunn and Ahmed Adly to discuss the controversial theory that a highly technological civilization with advanced machinery may have once existed in ancient Egypt. While we disagree with both of their views on this topic, we had a friendly and productive conversation that we hope inspires further constructive dialogue. We feel that it’s a healthy part of the scientific process to analyze controversial theories under a lens of critique and skepticism, with the intent to discover the truth. We hope you enjoy the podcast!

I'm really liking your Channel. I don't think it helps educate people that the sarcophagi are always referred to as being made by dynastic Egyptians. This gives many people the impression that they are far older than they actually are. I've seen in comments sections people think they're as old as the great pyramid or they get mixed up with the term pre-dynastic. I think it would help the conversation if people understood that the majority of these were made after the Egyptian dynasties ,centuries into the Iron Age, with the last one being made during the Roman era. I think it would remove a lot of the mystery if people considered the other stone monuments, sculpture etc being built during the same time period

Of course you like his channel. He used your material in his serapeum series. Since this is... SGD from a proxy... I like their channel too :)

@Kitties-of-Doom I think you stumbled upon a great idea for a breakthrough video for your Channel. You can call it SGD revealed. A split screen with the Australian green screen disquise and accent And on the other side the Canadian green screen ,disguise and accent. Then you can show proof because they both use the words "the" and "and" in sentences

@@itsnot_stupid_ifitworks I know all your speech patterns regarding this subject. Wasn't going to heat you out, but since youre getting corny, i had to do it. I nailed Mianos proxy accounts, he's got like 4 of them. He doesn't even deny it anymore. Just talks to me thru them openly knowng that I know. Matt from ancient architects is on the same page - Mr archie 13. Its quite hilarious that Im the only one whos rounded you guys up, thats how much time I spend interacting with you. Youre the best friends I never had. 😆😆

Wow this getting weird. You took it to a whole new level, Kitties. I seriously doubt these channels are using proxy accounts to interact with you, you’re not a big enough deal.

@@AncientPresence yeah it has nothing to do with me thats the kicker. It has to do with these channel creators needing to banter in the comment section without their channel name attached to it.

I was impressed at the tone of the discussion. You guys definitely stated your opinion with reasons and still ended on a positive note between completely opposing viewpoints.

That’s what I would consider “normal,” but unfortunately in today’s weird internet world that has become increasingly rare. Chris shared this podcast from Jerm Warfare and Triggernomety, I totally resonated with many of their points. I think you enjoy it too 😊

You have to hand it to Chris sticking to the same story for 30 years. If these boxes are sooooo incredibly precise in his eyes he must have a problem with thousands and thousands of stone Creations throughout history

I don't know the logic Mr Dunn uses. If you can demonstrate techniques (unexperienced even) that can make those results, how does he conclude it's not the way they did it...
Stunning! (He wrote some books about "topic" and he's not going to discredit his work in fear of losing booksales...)
FWIW to have k nowledge of technology, you need knowledge of physics and harnessing energy. You also have a run of precursor technologies.
For instance, to make a laser, you need knowledge about light. You need knowledge about radiation. You need knowledge about transmitting radiation, even. Electronics etc.
Where are the artefacts...! (not, that is not a question)
Also, the ( or a ) level of technology is related to energy use and being able to harness it.
It is far less likely that they had "high technology" then them using the methods you showed...

Interesting how they are not open to including documented evidence into their data sets to alter their beliefs. They're not self-aware enough to see the blind spots in their research techniques.
I think this is partly from egos wanting to have discovered something the experts missed, but sadly also because there have been enough archaeology scandals/a-holes that caused amateurs to become suspicious.
Anyway, thanks for putting this together

Good comment. People like Chris Dunn and Ben V Kerkwik do not consider ANY opposing views to their own. Dunn writes books based upon his own grift, and Ben just makes UA-cam money and does conferences etc. they both have vested interests (monetary) and they have worked out that there are many people out there who are only too willing to follow their every word with gasps, and they simply will not risk losing a single person by having to have a real conversation they simply cannot win.

Well, they don't *understand* what proper research and techniques are. They are working with what they know from doing book reports in high school or going to college and studying in a professional program to get out as fast as possible and go to work. Similarly, there is no understanding of what an argument is (cue the old Monty Python skit) and how to present and confirm or deny claims in a systematic process. As much as I could watch of Flint Dibble and Hancock on Gweneth Rogan's Outrage and Pseudoscience Podcast, when they discuss "Clovis first" Hancock's claim that nobody was allowed to even question it and Dibble said he wasn't taught that when he was in school 20 years ago, doesn't teach it, and that *isn't taught* (and I'll add - a minute in Google Scholar shows up articles in respected journals challenging the premise back at least to 1970. Hancock is flat out WRONG and has nothing to support his claim and how does he respond? By ignoring what Dibble said and throwing unsupported accusations of coverup and tyrannical control in the discipline. And Gweneth is to dumb and uneducated to realize this is not how educated, adult, argumentation happens so Hancock just babbles on about a cover up he has no evidence for.

@@TheGreatest1974 You should apply the same healthy skepticism you have for alternate history folk to some academic sources too. Sources which have proven countless times to be dogmatic in their ways and proven wrong given time. There is a healthy level of skepticism to be had here. Science essentially IS controlled skepticism, but i feel that the academics involved with ancient history have moved TOO far towards outright denial of anything that they consider "fringe". It's actually limiting progression on our theories on the ancient past in my opinion.
Also calling these very well researched men grifters is a gross hyperboly.
