I know, sounds terrible but my parents were gonna do the same thing you have in mind with the Murphy bed but the price was too high. They found this couch that has a pull out bed but it’s a BLOW UP mattress. So comfortable! I was shocked. Slept like a baby. You should check it out if the Murphy bed doesn’t work out. Whatever you do, it’ll be great!
