there’s 3 voices you hear. The voice in your head, the voice you hear, and the voice other people hear. The voice other people hear is the voice on your recording, and that’s how you really sound. I think you find your voice better because of all the vibrating happening when you speak and sing. So therefore you think you sound good. But your voice on recording is how you actually sound. But I bet you that you don’t sound bad.

Totally didn’t strain my voice trying to sound like Ariana Grande or anything.. aha
At the beginning i would strain my voice and due to that i stopped singing loudly but if you practice with diferent ways of singing the same note and find out the kind of way you feel more comfortable in then you will belt those notes in your own tune, sing like yourself not like her it will sound better
