    Katrina & Heather, thank you very much for your considerable efforts. In my opinion, you both have the most credibility of all others I have seen in the paranormal field. Additionally, you both show extreme bravery in addition to utmost professionalism in all your investigations. Thanks again and be safe.

    Hiya, I’ve enjoyed Travel the Dead so far. I’m really looking forward to the next location. I was hoping there would be a live chat wrap-up. Kat has been doing such an amazing job with the editing and all the filming has been really great too. I’m wondering if any of y’all would ever do the Estes Method? I’d love to see that and have the Geoport running at the same time. That’d be a great experiment to see if the spirits would communicate that way. It could get funky. Anyway, love the show. Love that it’s Woman Powered. Be well y’all.

    Watching this and you asked why was the level of activity amped up from previous visits, just tossing this out there, it may have been the equipment, the time of year or it could just be the inhabitants of Pennhurst have become comfortable having you in their midst, that you interact thoughtfully and respectfully and so they’re willing to be more active in your presence.

      There are so many possibilities, this is why carefully capturing evidence in a standardized method, and noting every single aspect from environmental conditions to circumstantial evidence all have to be examined and analyzed to better understand this phenomenon. I’ve always had great success with Tesla Coils amping things up so to speak. It also makes you wonder about the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment and the paradox of quantum superposition… do our conscious observations change the nature of this phenomenon?

    I watched your videos on UA-cam. I wondered if there was a way to link the sensors together throughout the complex giving you a record of what happened to a central feed, like a paranormal trip wire. The sensors are getting more complex, I just thought that they could link by frequency.

    • @ectoi_official
      @ectoi_official Рік тому +1

      Exactly what I’ve been working on. It wasn’t fully demonstrated here but that’s the end goal of having sensor nodes throughout a location to send the real-time environmental changes to a central database and fed to the end user simultaneously. Pennhurst is tough to transmit signals very far due to the size of the building, reinforced walls, etc… but it is currently possible.

    Not trying to take away from the suspense, but alot of those bangs could be from pipes and or wood doors. Possibly caused from expansion/contraction due to the temps. Very warm, cold, or changes in temp can cause similar sounds.

    • @ectoi_official
      @ectoi_official Рік тому +5

      Very possible, all the pipes have been empty and the buildings have been vacant for decades so they aren’t exactly sealed up like a climate controlled building would be. One thing I did record was the temperature changes that night and believe it or not as the night went on it barley dropped so it wasn’t like there was any massive temperature swings during the investigation. The only thing that could have maybe expanded and contracted was possibly the exterior / roof tiles as the sun went down. I’ve been in many old abandoned buildings with similar setup and architecture and none have been as loud and frequent as this though.

    • @barbara88-
      @barbara88- Рік тому +1

      I am still skeptical as well. I would want to try to explain the sounds and rule them out. Some kind of sensors placed a distance apart that could detect the direction of the sound to point to pipes, door movement, paint chips falling, etc. I also was hoping to see them use an ovulus and/or other equipment.

    Pennhurst Asylum, located in Spring City, Pennsylvania, was a state-run facility for the mentally and physically ill from 1908 until 1987. It gained notoriety for the way it treated patients, and many people now believe the place is haunted because of the supernatural activity that has been reported there. The atrocities that took place at Pennhurst and the causes for paranormal hypothesis are outlined in the following bullet points.
    Atrocities:
    -Patients were subjected to overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, with up to 2,600 patients at its peak despite being designed to hold only 1,200.
    -Patients were physically and sexually abused by staff members, including being restrained for hours at a time, being beaten, and being forced to take ice-cold baths.
    -Patients were often left naked and without proper bedding, and were frequently malnourished and dehydrated.
    -Medical experiments were conducted on patients without their consent, including electroshock therapy, lobotomies, and the administration of experimental drugs.

      @@AmyTheSpiritSinger not necessarily there, at Pennhurst, in particular I was talking about any supposed haunted place in general. Non-human could be anything, inter-dimensional beings, maybe something we don’t even know about yet. There is a theory (or more accurately a hypothesis) that some haunts are essentially manifested based on the collective thought and belief of a haunting over the years. Maybe it could even be a transcendental collective manifestation of emotions and energy built up over the years that transformed into something of it’s own. We can create (or discover) digital artificial intelligence why couldn’t we manifest another type of artificial emotional intelligence of sorts? This is all just best guess and hypothesis based on experiences I’ve had over the years. I’m not saying you are wrong, I think we need to think broader when we examine this topic and expand what is possible. I’d like to do an actual study of perceived hauntings based on the stories we are told vs going in blind and examine the evidence from a purely objective stance. It could lead to interesting findings maybe?

    Barn owls sound like a woman screaming and would find empty buildings great places to roost.
