"10 years I devoted to the duty you charged me. 10 years I looked after those who died at sea. And finally when we could be together again, you. Weren't. There. Why Weren't you there?"
Davey Jones : Let no joyful voice be heard! Let no man look up at the sky with hope! And let this day be cursed, by we who ready to wake!... THE KRAKEN! *intense thump from the wheel crank*
Here's the thing that interests me. We know William Turner took over the real Dutchman. So the question: Who brought Davy Jones back from the dead, and into the Sea of Thieves? It wasn't the Ferryman, nor the Dark Brethren. Was it The Cap'n? Either way, we know The Dutchman in Sea of Thieves was brought back from the sea of the damned, from a past memory. The fact that it was his half of the locket inside the chest, with Lord Beckett there as a memory.... The fact the very first tall tale showcases a memory brought to life from a Cursed Captain.... Both Rare and Disney really made a story out of this that probably goes deeper then we think. Remembering Rose and George are with Jack Sparrow currently, meaning there's a very big chance we see a return.
Well.. they actually gave an explanation in Jack's journals in lords of the sea. Will was freed of his curse, however, the Dutchman MUST have a captain, so it took the only available option; Davy Jones (a lot like what just happened with Disney's change in CEO recently). We already knew Jones was back in the post credits scene in Dead Men Tell no Tales, which probably had the same explanation for what happened. As for how Jones got his hands on the Golden Key (the wierd lantern thing) in the first place, before jack stole it, is still up for debate. I have theorized that it was of ancient origin and the cap'n found it, and used it, unaware of it's powers, and landed in the potc realm, and that's how he got his hands on the heart, and he probably gave Jones the key, then returned to the Sea of Thieves, and everything was set in motion.
And I do agree that there will probably be an APL 2 sometime soon, as in this year's December teasers, the Servant of the Flame said both "dead men will always have tales to tell" and "a pirates Life for us"

Yep. The story goes that one night when the sea winds moan, old shark-face will walk upon the land, and all his man-eaters will leave the briny deep and follow him, driving all of us humans back into the sea. - Milo Meekly, The New Scooby-Doo Movies - The Secret of Shark Island
Now What If The Heart Is Somewhere Safe?????? And The Dutchman Is Looking For Will's Heart Instead Of Davy Jones And She Failed To Look For It But Went To Ask For Our Help
It's more then likely that The Dutchman in Sea of Thieves is not the real ship, but brought into our seas from a past memory inside The Sea of the Damned. That last part where Calypso is telling him he doesn't have to be bound to The Dutchman any longer due to how special The Sea of Thieves is. He still feels as if he's bound to the ship, which is why it came with him. Davy Jones is dead, let's not forget that. Rare specifically showcased the scenes of Jack losing the Pearl, and then talking about the battle afterwards too, Lord Becket even made an appearance in the last tall tale. Meaning he was brought back to life, real question is who was it that brought him back.

Not at all. It was a unique piece written by Robin Beanland as an extension of the Davy Jones theme. You can hear it show up again in the siren monoliths bit, after the normal Davy Jones theme plays

I'm still disappointed he never said this in the tall tales
Damnnn. How many times have Davy Jones played the organ for the sirens to memorize his song??
@Orcaluv26 It truly is sad that love can indeed be a powerful weapon and a treacherous tool of war
@Orcaluv26 Absolutely. They're trying to be fuel for the fire of Davy Jones' rage.
Only a few times, they more prefer listening from my ship as I played
Not too many, I'd imagine. It's quite memorable.
@@artturisairinen3255 fair enough but still lol I'd imagine the sirens somewhat followed the dutchman.
