I seem to remember a band called Bolt Thrower doing a few tracks related to WH/40K too back in the 90's but regardless thanks for all the great podcasts I've enjoyed listening to over the years and have a great Christmas

Bolt Thrower is considered one of the all time classic death metal bands in the metal world. Female bassist too. Which is unusual. Her basslines sound like the frothing war engine of a Baneblade from 40k or something.
The guitarist in Sabbat later went on to be one of the most respected producers in heavy metal and the vocalist went on to form the world's first folk metal band Skyclad. And you might have noticed that the lyrics for this song is well researched and written? That's a regular feature of his lyrics! They are always interesting to read. They often contain double entendres and puns. Also the author Michael Moorcock inspired the whole idea of Chaos in the Warhammer world and used to read poems and stuff on stage with Hawkwind which featured Lemmy from Motörhead. He also inspired the title of a Deep Purple album "Stormbringer". What Im saying is that heavy metal and Warhammer have been embracing one another since the start. It's part of what I like about it. Also Skyclad is severely underrated and more people should listen to them.
