Thank you for your feedback! This time I used mostly the colours provided in the kit, but I agree it is a bit too yellow, almost mustardy. If I revisit this in the future, I will use separate paints from what is given in the kit. Otherwise thank you so much, the rigging was the most tedious bit and I dropped it a few times but got there in the end 😀
Hi Justin, thank you for your feedback. I think this is unfortunately a limitation of the kit. I am sure there will be other kits out there that will go into more detail than this one, but I am not an experienced model painter so wanted to start on something more manageable :)
I know...But if you haven't noticed it, he painted all the gun ports yellow. They should be black! Apparently in this model's particular case not all the gun ports are opened! So only half of her weaponry is ready for deployment....
@@MathiasThorne I did intend to offend you the model was nicely done, next time when there are long lines to paint use 1/4 inch masking tape to keep the paint lines straight and neat. Keep up the good work.
The cat at the end! 😸 This is a lovely kit. Great result you have here!
Really good model! To improve, I think the deck should be less yellow, but the rigging is infinitely better than anything I could ever do. Keep it up!

@@MathiasThorne I am having ago at a revell HMS Victiry myself, however I am doing the smaller 1/450 scale one.
That's awesome! Hope you have fun with it! 😀
Thats great to hear! I had a great time building and painting it, would definitely recommend it 😀
Nice
That turn out really well. Nice build. I would keep an eye on that cat. Cats have destroyed many of my kits. :)
Thank you! 😀 and I will keep a close eye, they can be rather mischievous at times!
Very cool
Thank you! There's more to come :D
I subscribe.. keep up the hobby
The model would have looked a lot better with straight lines on the hull, but other wise good job
Nice build, but if this is the Victory, where are all her guns? There should be many more.
