Anyone who actually supports crypto should agree. The fact you can pull off scams like this in crypto is just proof of how unregulated and decentralized it is... Which was the entire point of it. I'm not a crypto bro, but if they started cracking down and regulating crypto, I'd think the entire point of it was ruined. At that point, just make FedCoin.

Same thing with sports gambling. Anybody with common sense is going to dismiss or mock either that or the memecoins, which is why I lack sympathy for """victims"""
i hate people that rug pull coins, but if they're going to be investigated and charged with crimes, then why the fuck haven't the celebrities been charged with anything??? if anything, they need to start with the likes of Logan Paul and Adin Ross.
Because they're messing with poor people's money, nobody gives a shit about that. The people that actually go to prison like Atlman or Elizabeth Holmes lost RICH people a ton of money, that's the single reason anybody cared to prosecute them.
"Rug pulling coins" is actually something I kind of like to see for two reasons. First, it's basically an IQ test. Second, it proves how unregulated and decentralized crypto really is. For better or worse. Anyone who wants more regulations in crypto isn't sincere on their support for crypto. The lack of regulations was literally the point.
People really should not call this investing, at best its gambling and at worst its just straight up theft and scams. How are people still falling for rugs.

Yes, the stock market always trends up. If you spread your money out over several stocks you're guaranteed to make a profit over time, even if you lose a lot on the way.
Yup. Even less risks if you just put it all into ETFs, don't get that satisfaction of an immediate 5x return or whatever but it's literally guaranteed profit year after year. My cousin invested in dogecoin as a little goof YEARS before this... but sold because it was going nowhere. Now I'm stuck wondering, "what if he'd waited just a little longer for everyone else to catch onto the goof too?"
0:55 I actually have a reason to feel like I didn’t get in on it. That’s why I don’t worry about it. The year it came out a friend told me about it, I downloaded what I needed to mine and I started mining a little bit. I quit when I learned how much power I was taking to get a couple worthless coins. I never thought it would go anywhere. In hindsight I wouldn’t have a bitcoin today even if I mined more. I would have sold off when it hit 800 the first rally.
Worked with a guy who bought 1000 bitcoins when it first came out for like $300. Forgot about it until 2017 (when I worked with him) when the price began to skyrocket. Realised he had no clue what his credentials were to get into his account. If he’d been able to cash out at the peak of 2017 he’d have made $20m from a $300 investment he made when he was 16. He still works at McDonalds.
Basically, the scams develop faster than our ability to regulate them. Throw in some misinformation about the regulators to get some deregulatory zeal going, put a billionaire or 2 in charge of the monitoring agencies and voila: scammer heaven
Eventually this will become highly regulated or made outright illegal. Hopefully. But a new scam will pop up to take its place... social media has ruined us.
I work on the less evil side of crypto, and have for years. My observations: 1. If you want to get in, learn chart fundamentals. It’s boring. It’s very boring. It’s important tho. Learn about indicators. 2. Invest in shit that you believe in and you think has a long term roadmap and a “doxxed” (publicly known) team. 3. Set a goal you want to grow your portfolio to, make it very low, consider anything over that a bonus. 4. Learn about launches by getting into communities, snipe launches on day 1. 5. Realize you’re going to fuck up a lot. A lot. 6. Have fun. I know it’s cliche, but I stand by it. 7. Understand there’s a cyclical nature to the markets - don’t be stupid during bull runs nor bear markets. I’ve done both. Do not recommend. your mileage may vary, not financial advice.

How much and when did you leave and enter?

I was told that what's more important than owning gold, is owning the picture of the gold.
@@HalloTschuess You may have a link to the picture of the gold, but that NFT is owned by someone else and it can never truly be yours.
My empathy is limited these days, so anyone who loses money on meme coins deserves it. Stupid is as stupid does.
At that point, just make FedCoin.
spent 35$ on doge, i mind as well try and wait till the next peak and maybe make a few dollars on it. it is stupid but hoping to make something out of it
yeah if you drop like.... 100$ on coins and just sit on it for the lols, whatever, have fun and take the loss if it fails (like a lottery ticket)! but people who spend so much money in such an unregulated situation THEN PROCEED to act like a victim? gtfo with that nonsense
@carlycaye90 yea that's how gotta do it!
Same thing with sports gambling. Anybody with common sense is going to dismiss or mock either that or the memecoins, which is why I lack sympathy for """victims"""
thanks Nick for adding a nice story at the end, it wraps up the video nicely
i hate people that rug pull coins, but if they're going to be investigated and charged with crimes, then why the fuck haven't the celebrities been charged with anything??? if anything, they need to start with the likes of Logan Paul and Adin Ross.
Because they only care if you’re a poor trying to make money. Rich people scamming everyone is just part of the status quo.
i think theyre pretty cool just because they punish dumbasses who put thousands of dollars into a meme
There's no regulation yet. And now there never will be thanks to american voters
People really should not call this investing, at best its gambling and at worst its just straight up theft and scams. How are people still falling for rugs.
Because some people are dumb unfortunately, the less intelligent you are the easier you are to scam - is one of many vulnerabilities we have
(no one is 100% safe for scams... but this really is an interesting one psychologically, fomo and stupidity are an awful combo apparently)
There are reputable companies.
I love that UA-cam plays crypto ads for this video
Kids are upgrading from runescape scams to rug pulls. Honestly i dont feel bad for the people who lose money to these kids. I hope there is a valuable lesson learned in the process. Probably not though...
he did it three times, I think only the kid learned a lesson - and that's how to rip money from the hands of people by capitaling on idiocy
this is why the price of GPUs haven't gone down
Hate to break it to you but they're never going down. Manufacturers have learned that people will pay that much and it is now the standard.
@XFry333X no, it's because Nvidia has always been the dominant one in GPUs so they set the precedent. Thank God for AMD is all I have to say about that.
@@XFry333Xthey did go down.. they weren't at MSRP for years... I had to pay $500 for an RX 580 when it retailed for $120. Cards are expensive, but they're back to the price point they're supposed to be at.
And never will now that Nvidia and AMD see that people will still buy these overpriced GPUs anyways
Most people aren't using GPUs for.mining rigs anymore
The timing of this release coinciding with the Hawk Tuah coin scam is perfection
Papa Meat should do a nice, easy video where he tells us about either his average day or average week
2:05 how has this goblin not been banned from every streaming site yet?
Now, do a video on the UA-cam scam, pay $15 a month for no ads, and then get youtubers to become ads

It’s crazy that this video was posted, then 8 hours later Bitcoin tops $100,000
I never understood stocks, you can loose like 30k or more but unless the company goes bankrupt or just disappears can’t you wait until you are up again?
Yes you can just wait
Yes, the stock market always trends up. If you spread your money out over several stocks you're guaranteed to make a profit over time, even if you lose a lot on the way.
Yup. Even less risks if you just put it all into ETFs, don't get that satisfaction of an immediate 5x return or whatever but it's literally guaranteed profit year after year. Heck sometimes month after month even lmao. Historically it's very rare for an ETF that follows the s&p 500, such as spy or voo I believe, to not have positive returns. @@PraiseTheFSMonster

Hawk Tuah girl just got in some big SEC trouble for doing it recently too
your Wicked episode made me go see the movie - AMC to the moon?
That’s a good way to look at it, it could just as easily have flopped and you just have to make the best decision you can with the info you have.
Amazing video I love the way you’ve put it all together
Isn't it illegal to do this? Like how are people not getting in trouble scamming people for being dumb?
Basically, the scams develop faster than our ability to regulate them. Throw in some misinformation about the regulators to get some deregulatory zeal going, put a billionaire or 2 in charge of the monitoring agencies and voila: scammer heaven
It might feel illegal, but it isn't by law unless you can point out a specific law that bans this.
Eventually this will become highly regulated or made outright illegal. Hopefully. But a new scam will pop up to take its place... social media has ruined us.
its currently quasi-legal. The law just hasnt gotten to it yet since crypto is relatively new so there arent a ton of established laws for it
@@mariya_tortillayup, the real answer.

Lmao seeing the guy actively record him pulling the rug out lmaoo damn
Literally getting meme coin advertisements on this video. I couldn’t tell where Meat begins and shitty scam ads end
I work on the less evil side of crypto, and have for years. My observations:
That kid who scammed all those people is going to do great on Wall Street one day. 😂

Isn't all money just bullshit? At the end of the day, it's just paper. As a matter of fact, I don't even use physical currency anymore. Money for me is a number on a screen.
Yeah money is literally just a concept. Without people’s trust in it, it would literally just stop existing.
at least you can exchange paper money for physical goods and services. crypto can't be used to buy anything except NFTs(lol) or other digital garbage engineered around crypto.
