I really appreciate a channel that does A/B on the exact same bit of audio. So many channels play through a song turning something on and off and all the time the music is changing or they speak to tell you it’s on/off etc. This is so much better to concentrate and really hear the subtle differences. Really enjoyed it.

That EQ trick paired with compression and reverb works like magic! Vocal are more low key and sit in the back of the mix, just where I wanted them. Thanks for the vid man

Awesome channel and website. Who is the artist featured please? I'm curious about the rest of that song. The vibe is really nice. Thanks

Thanks for watching! Just about! Anything that fits, but if the attack is too slow, it'll be difficult to time it correctly.

Thank you. This morning I attempted to mix "on my own," and I discovered I have no clue at all how to do it--- the mix sounds pretty awful, in a bad way.

i can’t watch these videos bc of that vocal used in all three videos i just can’t stand it anymore i’m sure the content is great but please use a less annoying vocal sample next time

im sure most of these tricks are good....but your music choices dont highlight them enough....way to subtle to make any real difference in a real mix. show examples in a dense rock or heavy pop mix.
