- It is very important to properly space seed so that it will grow right. We have made a video explaining how to determine seed spacing the planter is putting out. We recommend 6-7" for corn, 8-10" for sunflowers using finger pickup. For soybeans use the soybean brush meter and 1.5" seed spacing in 30" rows.
