In today's adobe after effects tutorial we go over this smooth whip/slide transition done in after effects using rotobrush 2. This effect was done in the Fredo Bang - Big Steppa Feat. Sada Baby (Official Video).

Been using these tutorials to try and create interesting visuals on my channel, if you’ve got a sec let me know what you think 🙏
If you use BCC directional blur it handles the edges better
Also the effect you're talking about to fix it might be motion tile, but if you use the bcc version you'll be good, it's way better.

and it’s actually “output width” and “output height” you’ll want to increase it by 100 for every time you want to repeat the entire screen so if you want to make it pass by 3 times set it to 300 for both now you can offset the axis 300% more and check the box X Mirror Edges to get that proper mirrored edge look

@@latestnews1075 no just use roto rush and motion tile, set the parameters on motion tile (output size 300-400) and then just set the key frames to make the effect(from left to right or right to left) another trick is when you expand to 300px in output its on both sides (if you go too high it will not work it can only go up to 5-600 if your in 4K, so off set the beginning example: you want to do 6 rotation but only have it set to 300, if you go in the opposite direction you will notice you now have 3 frames on the side too, so offset it to start from that from and you will have 6 frames to use.

also for wrapping the edges for rotubrush you could just feather the roto, it works a lot differently than feather for normal mask tool
