I moved to Davenport in Spring 2021 and my house appreciated well over $125K between then and now. The appreciation is there in Davenport and yes we are very up and coming. Residentially, we are experiencing some growing pains mainly in transportation and schools. All the people moving in have flooded the roadways and little is getting accomplished to expand roadways since Ive been here. Construction is dragging their feet, hope that changes. Second, with all the families moving here, schools are very crowded. Still, Davenport is a beautiful place to own a home whether as a rental property or residentially. Just be prepared to sit in a lot of traffic if you live here full time. Over the years, I could see Davenport appreciating to the likes of Clermont or Celebration, so from an investment standpoint surely it makes good sense.
1000 people move in and 1000 people move out constant rotation....The HOA are ridiculous, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE RULES!!! The home insurance is sky high ....do your due diligence
what you need to know is davenport is boring and sucks. not a whole lot to do. not many restaurants or shops, just alot of new construction of homes only. The job market is nonexistent..
I am looking as an idea at Davenport, Haines, and nearby cities. Which city is better to live if you have little kids that offer good schools and most importantly low crime rate? I see in comments HOA is crazy, Wonder if there are new constructions no HOA
We’ve saw some size-able drops between May-October, but noticing correctly price homes are stabilizing in price the last few months. Definitely have to see what the economy does on a macro level, but prices are looking like they’ve balanced out.
My wife and i are thinking of moving to davenport florida here soon. We would have to rent for a bit since we are coming from new meixco. Any suggestions?

We moved north of 4 near where 192 and 27 meet. We love being so close to Disney where we are. We got a 4/2 pool home in May-22 415k.
add on another 2 hours for I4 traffic that's not only a race track but a cluster f**k for traffic
Got a wallet back from lost and found too bad the employees or customers took the money out , there goes honesty with people. Davenport, fl
Hey Will do you think the prices will drop in Davenport to a more affordable place this year?

Can you assist with home rental until we can purchase a home? We will be moving to Florida in the next 3-4 wks and I know nothing about the area.
