Why do I have a feeling these guys are bending their religious beliefs with that skidder but if it helps their business and family get by and they're not shunned I'm glad to see it

The bishop will let them do just about anything if it brings cash into the community.

Are you using the chain that’s hanging from the quick change plate as a depth stop as well as a plumb line for the operator?
Definitely faster than a tractor mounted post driver using a weighted head.

Thats exactly right. It can also be used to pull a post out if needed. Thanks for asking

Too bad none of these videos show the machine moving from post to post. They always cut it off before it turns to go to the next one. The real power is to show the increased productivity and how much time you save from post to post versus a tractor.

Thanks for the feedback. Your point is spot on. We’ll definitely highlight the productivity benefit in future videos.

@@PremierAuger Show hot long it takes to drill three holes start to finish. Show how much easier it is to maneuver your auger to where you want it. Looking forward instead of twisting your back to look over the rear of a tractor. If you get stuck you can reverse the auger which you can't with a PTO.

@@chargermopar no auger pointed posts with hydraulic hammer pounding it in... turn up your volume a touch.. which eliminates the hole drilling time and it's a better base with natural compaction in the dirt... thats what the other guy was doing waving his arms to plumb the post cross ways from the operator using the chain... I grew up fencing behind an IH 656 3pt auger and packer sticks and a pair of fencing pliers in my back pocket

Yea and never shows on different type of ground only soft ground some where in a field. Lot of jobs we are doing we run into sand rock and even our hammer style driver has trouble getting post in the ground.
