Trinetra is so beautiful! I've seen her in person in one of the conferences on LGBTQ+ rights in Bangalore. Her skin, her eyes, her smile, her height, her voice....almost everything about her is so beautiful! Although I have not spoken to her or known her personally, I'm sure she has a beautiful heart too.
Dude I literally love trinetra.....she would have been a perfect casting for the role of the mother in Super deluxe...her charisma really reminds me of that!!! She deserves so many ventures like these nad even better roles in movies ❤

It may have been very different from his conventional acting style, but that doesn't necessarily make a portrayal authentic. Frankly, no one except members of the trans community truly know what "authentic" means in this context, because only they've experienced such marginalisation and atrocity. Here's a few examples - it's ridiculous that a trans woman would show up in clown-like make up and a wig to her family after several years all happy and smiling. If anything, that's a scary and daunting situation, and Shilpa is seen literally showing up with cartoonish expression. It's also highly unlikely that a trans woman would willingly take her child to school that way and subject him to ridicule. Lastly, there's a common misconception that we like to kidnap children, and that the ultimate worst thing we can do is "curse" somebody. This is simply untrue, and this stereotype is reinforced in the movie - it scares people and distances them from us. Authenticity depends on writing, direction, acting, casting. Mr Sethupathy may have done an ok job based on the script and direction, but the portrayal overall I find to be very average and stereotypical. If a trans person played or even co-wrote the role, these nuances could have been picked up! While my playing the role may not have been convincing, Mr Sethupathy's portrayal was absolutely not convincing to the trans community and didn't do any justice to us. My two cents.

Yeah , I think even carol and Susan from friends were correct representation of homosexual women . Otherwise all the Bollywood movie generalise them to behave like the opposite sex . These 2 shows made me realise that they are like normal people and behave normally .
I showed the explanation of the LGBTQ full form to my 11 year old sis. And I'm so happy that she's so open- minded about it unlike my stereotypical parents.

During kal ho na ho the idea of two men being a couple was so unbelievable that I laughed in all kantaben scenes. This movie made me seriously realise that gay relationship is a legit thing in real world. Much love for this film❤️

Sadly, in my childhood I was one of those who would be scared of this community because of the nonsensical hearsay I believed. I apologise for the irresponsible behaviour. I know I can't make things right that happened in the past but I would like to make a fresh start.
