Being Mexican, I couldn't resist to turn these into flower tortilla tacos. Thank you so much for the recipe. Added quite a few things (salsa negra, spring onion batonettes, avocado, touch of lime zest, red onions, cucumbers and tapenade. Thank you Bart!
Now that sounds super tasty. I'll have to run down to the grocery store (I'm NW of Dallas) for some tortillas and the veggies. (Yes, I know I could make the tortillas myself, but they're available at the store, steaming, soft and fresh, so meh.)
zé manel's sardines? Portuguese caned fish and seafood is the best in the world! I recomend the sardines but also mackerel, tuna, cod and octopus! the best product in the best olive oil and other sauces!
Superb, love these layers of flavours and textures dishes. Nothing there we don't like. This may be a simple dish for you, but as usual you are passing on plenty of tips that i for one would not have thought about. Like your skills with the pepper grinder, do you juggle by any chance?. Thank You Bart.
TGIF! WOW you've done it again. I'll have to try this. I've never tries sardines. Might have to lightly give them a quick sear. Have a great weekend Bart. Your friend from Cali USA. Cheers Mate 😁
Love your video, I use avacado instead of white bean puree, still yummy and tasty Sardine is one of my favorite seafood dishes, hope to see more sardine receipes
I never buy cheap tins of Sardines as they are generally low quality, So I pay out for top quality Portuguese tinned Sardines in EVOO and they really do make the difference.

RJ Villa I believe most canned sardines are already cooked before they are packaged (if you mean that, and not for them to be warmed up)
Yes I Do know. I just prefer a crispy texture on my fish that's all. Thanks 😊
superb idea thanks

Tasty! Sounds good. Thank you for watching.
Very nice
Sardines are hella good. Full of proteins too
Straight from your great book! But since I'm allergic to white beans, what's an alternative?
Hi Stefan, are you just allergic to the white ones or to beans in general?
I never buy cheap tins of Sardines as they are generally low quality, So I pay out for top quality Portuguese tinned Sardines in EVOO and they really do make the difference.
Hi Bart, its been a while since we've seen you cook outdoors. When are you getting back out there? :D
This week!

My producer is actually visiting Lake Baikal in the summer! I will let him do some location scouting ;-)
Thanks for watching.
Just had a trip to Amsterdam and wonder if we were wondering if you have a restaurant i AMS? :)
No! Who knows in the future.. How did you like our city?

Hi Bart,
Can i replace the tinned Sardines with grilled ones? I guess I am not sure I'd like to eat raw fish!
Tim sardines are cooked already
'Bayzill' or 'Basil'. How do you pronounce it in Dutch? Likewise with 'Coriander' and 'Cilantro'.
Will work on it!
Basilicum in Dutch :-) (Cum of the basil? haha)
I only find lightly smoked sardines here in Sweden. I hope that works too :-)
Sure!
I can make the meal ... but I still can't do the "pepper flip" :0D
Try harder! Practice makes perfect ;-)
Only the two last times you say basil, dont say in two ways.
After you add the mayo to beans I switched off, because it's disgusting imho.
Anyway, nice channel👍🏼
