Bonus video this week! Pretty slick setup for mutiple units. I like the isolation because contamination is pretty easy. Wrong product, wrong hose, wrong valve, repacement operator or exhaustion. Any of those could knock out alot of crop very easily which actually would cost more than the whole unit.
Thank you Mike. It’s always a pleasure to watch your uploads
Nice video Mike, so glad to see your new Dash setup on the Behnke trailer. The trailer itself is made in my hometown of Farley Iowa, and I work there building them, so I am excited to see how it works for you.
Mike got an idea for the booms. Get some magnets made that say herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide or whatever else is needed. Label each boom on what product it has with the magnets. That way if a sprayer pulls up to the side of the trailer for the first time, it would be easy to tell which product is on what side. Also an easy way to tell which product is loaded on the front and back tank. Just my .02 cents.
That's a great idea. I don't work on a farm, but where I work we have tags we have to put on the lines depending on which product is in it.
Also label the mixer stations.
HI MIKE. BEAUTIFUL SETUP. Well thought out with years of experience. Now hoping for lots of rain and snow, especially on the South farm. It is Wednesday May 1 and forecast for your area looks promising. Keep us updated on the total precipitation!
Great job Mike!!!!! Planting Milo in Kansas today. Keep up the great work!!!!
I guess the cages come in handy whenever you run into a Canadian Prairie Gorilla and want to show it off at the state fair 😂
Just like everything else in farming. Modern, efficient, and computer controlled.
What’s computer controlled?
Paint one pump rig yellow and the boom yellow, color coded is the only way to go
A seeky Wednesday video, Nice
Nice setup !!!
Those DASH sprayer trailers are made right close to our place! They sure come out with a great idea that’s for sure as they are selling like crazy! Nice that you can order one and You can customize it to your liking! There’s a lot of UA-cam Farmers that have one already!
Sooooo,.....when is a new John Deere 9RX830 showing up for you to test?!?!
The fact that your fields are 5000 acres that’s the size of our whole farm lol
The fact that your fields are maybe 500-1000 acres..that's 10 times the size of our whole farm lol😂
Love from india 🇮🇳
So cool, that you guys can share equipment, manpower & ideas.
Just imagine what they could buy if they had a crop last 3 years
Since you said a fire hose does it come with a nozzle? Add one if it doesn’t. One heck of a trailer.
For your farm, running multiple sprayers, that DASH is gonna be a game changer. I believe you are going to love it.
Love your videos - tons or great information! Praying with you all for rain this year to mature your crops!
You didn't get the Hunter Brothers option?
Did anyone know how many acre Mike has to work?
Im in middle Germany an Fields from 1 to 8 acre an realy big one with 14 are Standard. In east germany its all bigger but thats what here is.
After years of watching Mike im still amazed about the space
I believe Mike and his family work around 42,000 acres
Fields are laid out in full sections (1 Mile wide by 1 mile long) or 640 Acres. The avg field is usually 2 or 3 full sections. Field can be broke up into smaller quarters or 160 acres pieces but it becomes inefficient to farm land that way with 84’ airseeders if it’s not necessary.
Awesome looking Dash trailer Mike
That's a nice setup just saying.
Commenting for engagement
A pleasant surprise in the middle of the week!
It's probably called a 2.4 because you can load 2 sprayers from 2 sets of twin tanks which if you add that up equals 4 tanks ?????
No I'm not trying to take the piss or be funny with you mike .
2.4 equals 2 booms 4 tanks, just a guess. Awesome trailer Mike thanks for sharing!
I wanna work with you
At the loadout, where the hose attaches to the sprayer, mark one fungicide and the other herbicide, all doubt has been removed.......well, in theory.
Morning. Wooooooooooo, bonus video.
Great video Mike
That’s a slick setup.
If you wanted to get tech you could have different attachments for herbicide and fungicid
Congrats on the new rig! The setup looks awesome! I wish we had these things where I live, but farms are too small.
Hey Mike when you put the jug on upside-down so that it is "glugging" could you poke a hole in it to reduce the glugging and speed it up emptying?
Those solar panels are about as much good as an Ad Blue pump on a Fendt 😂
Mike, the big question is "what does it cost"...
I don't remember that Red semi. Bad ass DASH
Bonjour Mike magnifique vidéo et la remorque avec les cuve et le reste est bien équipés et bien intéressante et de coman sa marche 😂😮😅😊
Which company manufacturers the actual trailer part. Lode King in Winkler MB?
Benke trailers
Well wear Mike super bit of kit 👏
Totes?? Are you going to use totes now?
Fabulous unit can’t wait to see in action
Great awesome video Mike
What the price tag
Do the chemical companies allow you now to open their totes to add water to rinse the totes. They used to be sealed with a wire that had to be cut to open the lid.
Lose deposit if you open em
Mike, How far in miles is it from the North to South farm?
650 km
Good old round up
You're going to need to upgrade the truck's air compressor.
I'd install on board air and a generator, that way you could disconnect and have a semi free to do other things.
Compressor puts out plenty of air
Oi 👍 👍👍👍
👍
👋😊
👌👌
Modern farming makes me sick. The amount of chemicals you guys spray into the environment. Mankind should've never advanced technologically beyond blacksmithing.
Quit eating...you'll get over it!
Nice Trailer ! Now you guys need a New Hage 135’ Front mount boom sprayer. Just a Cool $1,000,000 I think. 🙂
Gee everything Big is $1 million these days.
Why stop at 135’? Better go all the way to 180’ haha
@@etrain757 Hage doesn’t make a
180’ boom I think ?
@@melindagreen3023 oh sorry, I didn’t see the word hage, we have a new agrifac sprayer with 180’ booms
@@etrain757 180’ is too much boom. It’ll bust up.
Can you remove the spraying equipment from the trailer and use it as a flatbed for bales in the winter season
Theoretically you could… but why would Mike wanna do that?? It would be far easier to just buy a second trailer if you wanted to haul hay… but I don’t see Mike ever getting into hay or animals EVER!! 😂
That would be a lot of work & time. Not worth it, best to get another trailer.
Just check the Spare Trailer box on the order form!
How all the hoses plumbing under neight trailer gonna holdup on mainly gravel roads?
It won't !
@@daveiluk1049😂😂. The amount of these trailers out there prove other wise. Built by dash or home built. There’s tons of them
@@williamuskoski1385 😂😂Tons of them ??
@@daveiluk1049 your acting like this is a one of one 😂
@@williamuskoski1385 Do you own one or more flat decks that are rigged for spraying ?
