How could someone be so outrageously talented and compose the best score ever for the entire run of a series, whilst still only in their twenties? "The Shape of Things to Come" is sublime but every single track is outstanding. I listen to Bear's music every single day, whether it's BSG or another of his brilliant soundtracks.

Never before 2003 or since has any composer made such an arrival into my knowledge than Bear 🐻🎶.
In his many other works since BSG, Bear has demonstrated an ability to compose _vastly_ different types and moods of music.
Instead of "I recognize this composer's style immediately" reaction, I consider my "I cannot believe this _too_ is Bear!" the highest expression of *respect* I am able to give to a composer.

First time I ever heard the shape of things to come it literally broke me inside here it is years later ., And what I understand now is it's a piece of music that makes you feel everything all at once. And I'm sure I'm not the only person this is happened to. As I have stated previously, bear created a invisible character that was never written into the script, but was just as important. For his music became just as much a character as the people we were watching ., and for that I for one, grateful for having the experience, and I'm sure I'm not the only one

Thank you for sharing this Mr.Bear, I'am no musician or composer but its very inspiring to see how you think behind the scenes , I try to reach that level of creativity and passion in my own projects, been a fan of the show for a long time and became a fan of you too much love from Libya :D

This man was a massive contribution to my childhood. At a similar age now as I believe he was then, and as a musician, I've surprisingly (well, before seeing this) picked up on a lot of the weird techniques and instruments in his writing for my own music. What a legend

somehow I got stuck with the bsg score, all work I hear from Bear somehow gets put into perspective and relation with this score. Can't hear a score and not be reminded, even if ever so slightly, the bsg score. Thank you for this epic piece of music - sometimes I rewatch just for the score

This Bear McReary guy has sure made some great tunes, Sara Connor Chronicles and Dark Void comes to mind. (Among so many others)

I actually don't like typical orchestral music like in Star Wars.
What Bear did in BSG is exactly what i like, i hope someday i will find another TV show with this amount of such great music and atmosphere.
