We had a store when I was a kid that sold weird "craft supplies" like offcut pieces of shiny plastic and used film rolls and just all kinds of scrap paper and plastic bits from all over the place and I loved it. I would totally donate to/buy from a thrift art shop!
I love the idea of an art thrift store. I feel like artists tend to hoard a bunch of art supplies and then not use them so would be a good place to donate. Also great if you only want like two sheets of paper

I’ve been feeling art self doubt for a while now. I’m relatively new in my art journey (been about a year that I finally am taking it seriously) but I picked up the book The Artist Way by Julia Cameron. I’m about two days in but already it’s renewing my love for art.

I am the queen of tech issues.... except for me it was that my new camera just decided to corrupt all my footage from my newest vlog, but thankfully I was recording shots with my iPhone too throughout the time I was vlogging so I had stuff to work with lol. But still....

I always loveeee watching your vlogs! I was so happy seeing the art supply thrift store that I searched for my area and found one close in Chicago! Definitely will have to go once the virus calms down :) Also what scanner are you using that works with your mac? Been looking for a good scanner but most work with Windows and not Macs :
Carli Sketches I use an Epson v600 photo! My only complaint is that the scanning bed isn’t completely flat. I’ve seen canon ones that are and I’m envious.

i’m surprised you didnt notice that the slowmo filming was taking up an obscene amount of storage since its usually 120 frames a second or more as apposed to 34
R Ford once I realized it was filming in slow mo all of the mysteries, such as my memory card being full after a day of filming, unraveled.

In all seriousness I do dislike videos if I actually dislike them. So if someone I follow does something really off brand and upsetting (like when artists or brands I like accept sponsorships from Wish, yikes) I will dislike that video. But people who dislike videos like this confuse the heck out of me, because why? 😂 It was entertaining, chill, had some art in it, it was just an all round good video, and I too would like to know why the 6 people who disliked did dislike it. 👀🔥
