This video has so much for me to unpack. My favourite UA-camr (Good God is that even a thing I should admit to having) bringing me a heart breaking video about my favourite fragrance line.
Thank you so very much for the passion you have put into this video.
A-Men has charted my adult life. There being releases from the year I met my wife, the years my kids were born and from the years I thought I would be so much more than I became.
This video means a great, great deal to me. Thank you!!!

I spent years watching fragrance content and collecting them. It went away... As I started to focus more on the ones I really liked, instead of endelessly searching for new stuff, and learned that 99,9% of youtubers are there more as sellers than content creators, my interest faded away, to the point of me having only 2 bottles now, of the ones I feel really good about and not watching anything frag related anymore. Well, all that just to tell you that I still love your content and will still watch everything you do 😊

I feel it'll be same with me. First i tried everything had **** of bottles than ... i got disappointed in well everything. Continue with the ones that I always loved and some of the "new" ones I'm in process to get to know. Just 15 fragrances and I have that feeling that's to much sometimes. There are awesome fragrances but not enough for full bottle. I'll let it play as it goes for now.
Fragrances videos are getting more and more boring. Especially with big channels that most of them I stop watching.

    • @weirdversions
      @weirdversions 9 місяців тому +7

@@nefarious_saint you probably gonna laugh, idk, but all I wear at the moment, of all the frags I once got, is Sauvage EDP, and ADG Profondo.
Why? It's simple: I like those a lot, I feel good wearing them, they are not so popular in my country and people around me love them to. The perfect combination.
Of course, my collection was not a million dollar worth... My most expensive one was Layton, but, at the end of the day, it's just about what makes you feel good.

@@Frank-DuxVanDamme I think what got me bored and disappointed about frag content was catching these guys lying over and over to sell products... and that's why I like this channel so much. He was the only one on yt to tell the truth about Bleu Electrique, for example.

I wish Mugler would realize how incredible their fragrances are. The incredible realistic fresh tobacco leaf in Pure Havane, realistic liquor in Pure Malt , the insane combination of Mint , Chocolate & Vanilla in Kryptomint and the juicy citrus in UltraZest are absolutely stunning. Please do as Tom Ford and re-release the classics , even if limited time only

George, you are raising the bar to what a fragrance video should be and how they should make us feel. A-Men, the OG, was the fragrance that trapped me into this hobby and turned it into an obsession for me. It was 1996 and I've been using fragrances for years , second year of college and I went to Macy's, I tried A-Men and spent my food & booze money for the month on the fragrance, right there on the spot, no questions, no nothing, never looking back. What's funny is that for years I never knew the name of it... I just went to Macy's when I depleted my bottle and asked for the bottle with the blue star, the way it made me feel when I wore it was exactly like you said.... like a superhero.
In 1996 you didn't search the internet for opinions or notes, you bought by feeling and that's exactly what I did. I envy those times where decisions were so un-informed, something so good about that.
Thanks for the video man and I agree, after the OG, Pure Malt is my favorite and the other Mugler I bought on the spot after trying it.

    2 things:
I grew up in the 80s and I can confirm it was just as magical as it sounds to younger generations. It was the best of times truly!
Second, we honestly aren't worthy of these videos you put out. To have access to them for free on UA-cam is such a blessing. Thank you for consistently giving us something unique and truly informative and so deep on the subject of fragrance. A subject so many of us hold near and dear to our hearts, but do not possess the talents or words to describe and educate on fragrance in such an entertaining manner such as you do. Thank you we honestly appreciate it more than you know. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

@@bigbraintime5361this is true. However if you just go back and look at the music and movies being made you can just tell it was peak American culture, people where still somewhat normal, there was just enough technology to enhance our lives but not yet rule over us. We got along for the most part, race relations where better than now, you could pick up and move practically anywhere in the USA and have no trouble finding a job ,you could get a “beater car” for $500.00 and maybe even get lucky and get something clean for $1000 your buddy gave you $5.00 to take them to work and you had half a tank. It was better for the average person.

Fantastatic job George !! I had the chance to see the Thierry Mugler exhibition in the Brooklyn Museum last spring. I saw the entire line of his fragrances including Les Exceptions, and his entire line of fashions, videos of his muses and engagement in music videos. I read about his fascination with breaking the norm. Pushing the boundaries of the society’s norms and imagination. I believe this documentary belongs in that museum.

This is a beautiful short film about the Mugler line. I appreciate the effort put into this and the justice you did to an epic line doesn’t go unnoticed.

Another Masterpiece from you George. The ending really hit me hard and i truly hope that the line will Return someday.
