I was there early on Friday when Eastfield was having tech problems. Great to get seeing it running here! I had a brilliant time at the show, and for newer modellers like myself it was nice to see some TT120 layouts like I have at home alongside the more established gauges.
I think this is the best Glasgow show I have been to. So many good layouts it was hard to pick out a favourite. Wellpark was good to see again and Neuburg was one I really liked. I am happy with my goodies from the Westhill stand and managed not to break my bank this time.
Model Rail Scotland 🏴 2024 was definitely a champagne year 🥂🍾 So many great layouts. You did amazingly well to capture so many highlights of the show. I attended on Friday with Dad and it was so busy I struggled to get footage. Nice to be able to watch your great video now from the comfort of the sofa with a refreshing Irn Bru and a Tunnock’s Caramel wafer! It would have been great to have been able to have had a wee chat with you but unfortunately we had to attend on the Friday. All the best Dave, Andy
I missed it this year because I was on the Whistling Highlander Class 40 tour from Crewe to Inverness! As ever it looked a fantastic show, I'll look forward to next year's. Thank you for this great summary.
Good to see Eastfield running; they had issues on the Friday when I was there. Agree with other comments that this was a great show with some really fine layouts.
Thanks for refreshing my memories of a first visit to Model Rail Scotland: Dave. Eastfield is huge and impressive- I never considered it is O gaugeI! Plenty to see with lots of diesel action which is great, not too much GWR like many shows!!
Just going off you're video. Apart from Eastfield just because of the sheer scale of it, I'd have to go with Almond Bridge, the only thing it lacked was water detail.
I really liked Wellpark as it's close to where I live. There are a lot of real life details there but moved around. The Jas Galloway Tyre Fitters Ghost sign is real and so are some of the arches and a lot of other little bits. Bridgewater was another favourite. It just has so much going on. There were a couple of bus crashes while I was watching too. Exciting stuff.
When I saw Eastfield in magazines/online I thought it was an incredibly massive 00 guage layout which must have cost an absolute fortune to create, then I realised it was 0 guage!
I liked the way Wellpark alternated periods between blue/grey and orange /black . A really authentic entertaining layout with something on the move most of the time . I found Eastfield , while impressive had large periods of in activity
The mark of a good model railway (or Railroad) Is when you cannot tell what scale it is when you see phtos or video of it without any kind of reference (such as people in shot or other objects). These layouts mostly pass that test.
Fantastic layouts, Eastfield is amazing. Brilliant filming and well presented

Great video, David. I hope you enjoyed yourself helping out there at the weekend. There are some really good layouts in this video.
Thanks Dave, much appreciated
WOW !!! What a fantastic video Dave. lot's of stunning layouts. Thanks for posting. Cheers Greg
Wonderful video

Thanks for sharing Dave.
Great video David. Some fantastic scenic ideas. Thanks for sharing. Roy.
A lot of impressive stuff Dave. I particularly liked the large number of smaller picture frame layouts, as well as that monster Eastfield! Cheers
pretty awesome - Thats really great
Respect from a German Railroad Channel
Eastfield is SUPER impressive on camera, I bet it is even grander in person.
Thanks for sharing this Dave , not able to make show this time round so always great to see the layouts on show. Atb phil pace 👍👍
love the almond bridge lay out :)
An overall good video here Dave, from the looks of it a great variety of layouts were there, hope you had a great time.
Hmm... little too many blue diesels for me!

Enjoyed a great day there on the Saturday and plenty to look at. Tellindaloch my fave of the day and the little T scale HST nice too.

Eastfield and wellpark for me. Nice to see lots of diesel layouts

Was impressed with eastfield depot in 0 gauge very impressed indeed the detailing from the 1980s well presented I hope you enjoyed yourself dave.
Eastfield TMD!. I never want to see this layout again. You have to admit that you see this and want to jump ship to O gauge. Just amazing.
Eastfield in O gauge is amazing, but there is a good variety of other layouts there

That O gauge TMD set up costs more than my car 🤣
Great video though young David 👍
