To have worked on something that inspired me to be at Blizzard some day, was just a special feeling. I've played WC3 with friends at LAN parties, played solo through the campaign, and watched the cinematics ountless times. We're taking redshift to a realistic level this time here! I worked on some of the landscape matte paintings, started by Fabio Barretta, and lighting comp on some shots.

I am no longer a gamer, but man WC3 brings back the best memories of my late teens and early 20s. Now 33 with work and responsibility, WC3 reforged brings back so many memories i wish i could just get back to high school again and live life again.... Diablo3 and WC3 reforged will be games i think i will play over and over again for a long long time. Blizzard makes few games but their replayability is top notch. WC3 was history in the making, that game was Gold.
neoblackcyptron why’d you stopped gaming? I’m your age with two daughters but I never stopped. It’s limited to weekends but it’s still enough to get some serious gaming done. Buy Warcraft 3 Reforged and relive your youth, bud.

That single announcement saved blizcon this year.
Lore Master Patriot and they butchered WC3 Reforged, all of their promises back in Blizzcon 2018 was never applied to the game.
And almost killed it.
Still goosebumps till now! The best RTS game ive ever played is back!! Ladder time baby! cant wait for Reforged!!!!!!!!

@@realthug1530 lol what, i hope you know well that warcraft 3 alongside many blizzard titles coined the moba genre and possibly if we were to compare it to how microsoft just copy pastes AoE with better graphics every 6 years or so, Warcraft 3 would be the best.

The only way to keep Blizzard alive: Remaster or bring back old games
they could keep Blizzard alive with just the money they get from Overwatch and Hearthstone micro transactions at this point. Even if Wow had 0 subs people spend so much more money on digital cards and skins.

This biggest takeaway that this was going to be a disaster was the logo looking cartoonish compared to the original, huge giveaway that all the art was being outsourced
in the entire game I think for the most part only the intro cinematic was made inhouse, lol (and they still censored the butchered hands at the end that are revealed with the thunder)
These people must be very sad today
But they were all of them... Deceived.
