For once I'd like to see the abusive ML who has beaten, choked and threatened the FL, treat the evil schemer the exact same way once he finds out the truth about them...but no, he just reprimands her and she gets taken away...not even a slap......where is the justice ? This is a crappy plot......I like the ML and FL as actors, they act together well, but I hate the story, especially her staying with him in the end....that just sucks....it is so unrealistic.. in reality she would hate his guts after what he did, not just conviently forget every brutal thing he did to her...
Exactly!! They torture the female lead based on flimsy fabricated evidence and when they find out it was the mistress’ doing, the repercussions are never comparable.
Ok, I get that they are not going to stop making these torture dramas since it’s their bread and butter. But if you’re going to write it to where the FL goes back and sometimes even never leaves their abuser, at least give us something to show a real reason why she stays. You can’t have a woman be abused and humiliated for 2 1/2 hours and little to no retribution for 10 minutes. And then on top of that, when the villains horrible acts are reveled, they don’t get 1/10th the treatment that the FL went through. I couldn’t even as an actress play these parts if I were them.

The actors may be perfect, but the script is no good: only a woman who is not worthy of respect or sympathy can forgive a sadist, rapist, child killer, etc. There is no love in such dramas.
I love the ML and FL, they are worth watching. I hate that storyline always showing the strong ML being so stupidly duped by the mistress so easily and not trusting his wife at all. Then when he does figure out the mistress caused all the misunderstanding he really does nothing to her! I wish the FL in these types of drama would not be so weak. The only other thing is the dubbing.... I wish the dubbing was better a lot was missed and a lot was not translated correctly.
and what gets me he even promised to marry the mistress 1:04:42 and yet he professes his love to his "wife" at the end.....what a shallow man.....can't understand why she so happily took him back.....I wish she met someone else....he doesn't deserve her...

Luckily the first mini drama I saw ML in, he was actually a good guy. He was in love with a cheated woman heading for divorce and helped her get revenge. Then I saw him with this same FL here in a 2 part drama (very rare!) with the 1st part where he was incredibly abusive. Their acting and chemistry were so good though which is the only reason I watched it when I usually avoid plots with abusive MLs. The torture the FL went through there actually made me cry! At least in part 2 he redeemed himself.
I would so love to see this storyline with an American wife! It would go so much more differently! Love the actors but this storyline grates at my very soul!!!

在劇內,雖然男主說不原諒女主,要折磨她,不肯離婚;另一邊卻對女二(假恩人)承諾會晚點離。雖然他很想女主受苦,但當她身體出現狀況時,他卻舍不得。雖然他表現得不愛她,但當她身邊出現追求者時,他卻嫉妒把她關起來。...太多太多他以為,最後,他失守徹底的愛她了。🌷
還好有一對很好的公婆,讓女主有些温暖,不然真的很難撐下去。

Right? All these stories have a savior complex where supposedly this wonderful woman “rescues” the ML and he can’t get over his feelings of gratitude. Falls in love or acts that way, but in the end all it shows is he only felt a filial affection. What crap

Are these two a real life couple? I've seen them acted together in so many dramas...
Luckily the first mini drama I saw ML in, he was actually a good guy. He was in love with a cheated woman heading for divorce and helped her get revenge.
Then I saw him with this same FL here in a 2 part drama (very rare!) with the 1st part where he was incredibly abusive. Their acting and chemistry were so good though which is the only reason I watched it when I usually avoid plots with abusive MLs. The torture the FL went through there actually made me cry!
At least in part 2 he redeemed himself.

Unfortunately, i don't think i can watch this to the end, the English subtitles make absolutely NO sense , pretty disappointing as i like the two main actors. I will try to find it somewhere else. 😊
