      WOW thank you! Thanks for watching. No I don't. I prefer to try to fade and keep them soft by using whip shading and blending. I use Tina Davies or Permablend's original line, but prefer the PB original line for powder and TD for microblading.

      Louisa Pickett you’re welcome! I’m glad it helps! I will say as someone who does powder brows and teaches it - I really don’t recommend attempting this without taking a good class. It’s extremely hard to get even results without damaging the skin if you don’t know the proper machine speeds, needle selection and hang, and hand movements. I’ve taught traditional tattoo artists who do amazing work how to do this and it’s even difficult for them. For example, this video is just homework for students in my class along with about 20 more hours online. Then in person training and model work.
      So this is just a small sample of the training you need from a good class. I’m sure you are super talented I just wanted to make sure I clarified that this is meant to help you with fine tuning your skills after you train. 😍❤️

    Is there any way to eliminate the pain from doing the outline and first pass without numbing cream? Someone mentioned that you can use a derma roller over the brows to open the screen and numbing, then do the outline. What do you think about that?

    • @BrowEnvy
      @BrowEnvy  4 роки тому +2

      With our technique clients barely feel the outline and mini first pass, it feels like tweezing! IMO derma rolling would feel identical to what I do to outline, or worse. Our clients literally barely feel it! And it only takes a couple minutes of tweezy feeling and then the numbing goes on. You could also numb with a topical first I just prefer not to due to time and it making the skin puffy :) A derma roller totally could work, but I would think you would have to discard it each time?

    • @BrowEnvy
      @BrowEnvy  3 роки тому

      Hi! It could be several things. Usually I've observed it be because the artist is just going too fast, not on purpose of course. Typically we need to force ourselves to slow down and let the needle work in each small section for longer so more ink deposits

      It definitely can't hurt! I don't find it does too much compared to microblading where they have open papercut like strokes. But it definitely doesn't hurt to do one, and it is nice if they are blonde it kind of temporarily tints their brow hair for better blending.

    • @BrowEnvy
      @BrowEnvy  4 роки тому

      breezy acre i use a couple stands but one is called the kuflox Tripod i believe, on amazon! It’s like $25 and you just clamp your phone in and position it above your client. I find for pixelated results you need to turn your speed down - it will depend on machine but 6-6.5 on xion. On the Bellar I am slower bc that machine seems stronger - so 5.5-6. Make sure your not hitting the skin on a big angle, and do you do whip shading?

    • @juliemcskimming
      @juliemcskimming 4 роки тому +1

      Brow Envy whip or if it’s an old lady I find whipping doesn’t work so I tend to do dots or shade. My trainer is reputable and popular in California but teaches more old school techniques

      Hi! Speed would depend on your machine. I don't use a machine based on like slow medium fast, the voltage is numerical. I do work at a slower speed with brows especially anywhere you want to see pixels. Needle hang is dependent on your preference, but I like mine super close to the cartridge.
