How To: Microblading And Shading Combination Brows Tutorial

  • Hi beauties!
    In today's video I am going to be teaching you one of several ways to do combo brows, also referred to as Microblading With Shading. This is when we combine the Microblading technique with Powder Brows. There are a few ways to safely and beautifully do combination brows with permanent makeup, but this one is my personal favorite.
    The reason is that the Powder Brow technique (when done correctly) is more gentle and less traumatic than Microblading.
    Powder Brows, also referred to as Microshading, are done by machine. As I mentioned, there are many ways to do them. But my preferred way is to do my machine shading with a single needle cartridge, with a long taper. I have found this causes minimal trauma. Less trauma = better retention! When the client properly prepares, and the technique is done correctly, clients do not bleed at all and have minimal swelling.
    Powder brows typically last much longer than Microblading, and hold their shape and even coverage much better. The other reason I prefer the technique for MOST people, is that most people aren't excellent candidates for Microblading. But most of us are great candidates for Powder. Therefore you can service more people and get better overall results with Powder Brows.
    That said - some people really want the look of hair strokes in the front to give the illusion that their brows could be their real hair - that's when you could choose this style of combo brows to give them the best of both worlds. (assuming they are a candidate for Microblading too)
    Hopefully you find this video helpful. As always the DISCLAIMER - my videos are intended to help trained artists improve their skills, or new artists learn more to consider taking a class. They are NO substitution for a class and there is no way an artist could safely and correctly do permanent makeup without real training. :)

    Hi! I love your channel it’s helped me so much after training ❤️ I’ve noticed some people tattoo the outline in combo brows. Do you recommend not doing this? Just using your mapping?

    • @BrowEnvy
      @BrowEnvy  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much for watching! That works if you are doing mostly a powder brow. You just don't want to outline the parts where you are wanting to to look like Micro, Orr else it would feel more shaded. So I put marker dots along the outline where I would be micro blading, and tattoo the outline where I'm putting shading :) I show the marker dots in some micro videos!

    How do you prevent zebra stripes? I'm literally practicing on my latex while I'm watching this video and I think I'm doing the exact same thing as you, yet, I end up with zebra stripes. Help!

    Can you become a traveling MB Tech, or can I use a designated room in my home for MB

    • @BrowEnvy
      @BrowEnvy  3 роки тому

      Hi! It depends on your state rules! In Ohio where I am, you have to be in a business that is zoned for business, so most homes would not qualify. Now a mobile vehicle - maybe that is possible!! It would have to have running water for sure!
