Does not matter did he leak that clip or not. If we suppose he did that, we must admit he took Mariam's consent indirectly and very intelligently. In the second part of the interview, they discuss whether it is right to get a politician's audio/video leaked or not? She replied if it is not a personal matter but the state is involved in that convo, it must go out in front of the public. Well played Mansoor Ali.

I am writing to you as Raza from the USA. This is my first time commenting here, and I felt compelled to do so to express my thoughts regarding your vlogs. Since I started following you, I have been impressed by your unique style of journalism. I watch your vlogs every day because I believed you are one of the most honest journalists in Pakistan. You have always maintained that "Yahan cut wala scene nhe chalega kisi ka baap bhi nhe cut karwa sakta" in all of your interviews, and I admired your courage.

Please don't talk about ethics. She clearly ordered you to cut that part of interview. And instead of just telling her that this is unethical, you responded with "NAHI NAHI HOJAYEGA. DONOT WORRY". You couldnot even make eye contact with her and responded like a beggar. You should have used ethics at that time. You should have told her that she cannot stop the cameras by force.
Little you could do was to tell her that team can only cut the part in which she was forcing them but the team will release her answer.

@Kamran Khan firstly there was not one watch but quite a few. One of the watches given by MBS had a value of more than the value of London apartments of the Sharifs. The watch was massively undervalued and bought at the percentage of that undervalue. The watch was shown to be sold to a local watch shop (which the shop owner denies) and in reality it was sold in UAE. The proceeds from that watch were then transferred illegally to Pakistan on the private plane of a real estate tycoon (money laundering). Quite a few crimes by Mr. Niazi. Also, none of the previous PMs made it a business to sell the gifts received unlike Mr. Niazi.

Thank you for the clarification mansoor bhai, few points from ur podcast as below:
1. U did the right thing by not adding this portion in the podcast when ur guest said not to record that but then it should have been ur highest priority that it doesn’t gets leaked. You failed to protect ur client’s data.
2. I’m very amazed that u didn’t find these questions interesting n u thought its boring. I think u should have taken her permission and record these questions again if u thought we cannot upload this portion because she said not to record. You could have recorded or asked the same questions again because these are immensely valid questions which she failed to reply appropriately.
3. U talk of ethics and now u are revealing secrets of other people as well, is it ethically right? Um talking of Shahbaz Gill, I understand he taunted and are now scoring points against you on this and u are now replying by revealing secrets of him now. Its his ethics but where are ur ethics now being a responsible journalist?

How come he did the right thing by granting her wish. When a host agreed to be on the interview that means she is ready for all sort of questions. A fair interviewer will ask every question and host is there to answer, or she has the right to remain silent or say no comment but under no circumstances she has the right to dictate cut it and he is not conducting a fair interview by agreeing to her request. His question was valid so the response should have included in the original interview. Now the credibility is lost as this is only one part got leaked and we don’t know how many more questions were asked and simply not added cause of her dictation.
Also attacking shahbaz gill that he didn’t add recorded portion of his bad behaviour can not justify the fact that in this interview he comply to her majesty the queen Maryam’s request but shabaz gill never asked him not to add that portion. The choice was his so he can’t compare both situations now.
He even identified the person who left his team 2 days later. Indirectly he is pointing his finger at him as a suspicion. Very very weak response from this journalist

Trust has to be earned, and should come only after the passage of time
I found it quite unethical and unforgivable that there was a breach of confidentiality by you and your team. Instead of focusing on how and why this has happened, most of your focus has been on defending yourself from the criticism by PTI that you fixed this interview. Even when this interview was aired, it was quite clear that it wasn't fixed. You should have focused more on explaining your position as to why this off the record part was recorded. When Maryam asked u to stop the interview, all cameras should have been turned off there and then. If not, this excluded part should have been deleted immediately after the interview when you commenced editing at the lab.

What surprised me that, a person who talks about ethics and how does he failed to comply ethics of his interviewers. You must punish the person responsible who put your credibility at stake.
It's the only loose delivery by you. Take necessary precautions to preserve your sacred credibility.

No my dear!! Agreeing to cut this part as per her orders is what is unethical. She agrees to be on the interview so she doesn’t have any right to dictate. He asked a valid question and she should have answer and he should have refused to cut it. That would be ethical.
