- I have 1 older existing shipping container at the ranch (high cube 9.5' tall). I decided to get another new HC for additional storage room. I figured I might as well set them apart a ways and build a roof between the 2 for more dry storage area. This is the first episode of getting the grounds ready to receive the new container and some video of the truck delivering the container. Thanks for watching.

Excellent. Intelligent. I've always thought of this idea forever..
This is interesting. Never knew you could get new shipping containers.
I love the wildlife
Thank you!
Ever finish this?
What pole saw are you using ? How many extensions ? It looked like it was reaching almost 20 feet.
Its a Stihl HT 103. It has one section that extends. It goes from 7'6" to 11'6" at the longest. So if you really reach with your arms you can get limbs 16' or so. I love it. It's one of those things thats after you get it, you say to yourself, 'wow why did I not get one of these years ago!'
good price 3000 new wow
Yep I though so as well, especially for a high cube. Ritchie Bros Auctioneers has a lot of them that tend to go for right around 3K.
did you ever make the video for making the roof?>
No not yet. I get aggravated with videos on UA-cam that don't ever show what the description says. I just realized thats exactly what I did! haha. Sorry that was never my intention. I just got sidetracked with other projects and then steel prices went nuts and its just too darn hot lately to work on that project. I will get around to doing it once it cools off.
@@redfoxranch3244 are you doing a roof kit or building your own?
Instead of buying a container buy a freezer container.
Carlos, thats seriously a brilliant idea. I never would have thought of that. Now I want one! If it had a refrigeration unit on it I could use it as a meat locker and butcher, hang, and age my own beef at home!
