CW design language has come a long way and finally feels coherent. I liked the black and white versions but this new dial and bracelet combination knocks it out of the park for me. CW has won me over.
Absolutely agree The last 2 to 3 years have been huge for them It's pretty clear they are putting a lot of effort into moving upmarket and being more creative I'm a big fan of the white dial, too, by the way Thanks for taking the time to comment 🍺🍺🍺🍺
This is a great watch. I'm thinking about going with the white, instead of this, as it's more versatile, but I really like this blue, too. I might wait for next year to roll around, as their CEO said they have some cool things coming for their 20th anniversary.
You can't go wrong with white dials I'm a massive sucker for a white dial, to be honest, lol Thanks for the heads up on the 20th anniversary I'll try to get my hands on their upcoming novelties and review them Also, let me know if you do end up pulling the trigger on the white dial I would love to hear your thoughts on it once you have it on hand Cheers!!!! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
I’m glad it’s priced where it is. I want them to separate themselves from the sub-$1k watches out there. They need to stay in the entry-level luxury category and not cheapen the brand.
I agree 100 percent, they should stay separate from those sub $1k watches ... but with the proliferation of Seiko's new "callers" GMT movement (NH34), every watch company and their grandmothers are producing GMTs for 50 - 70 percent less cost than CW's "caller" GMT (which is functionally the same).
@@DarthPlaya I hope that Selita will make a travel gmt to compete with Swatch Seiko and Miyota The Ocean Star gmt and the Seiko presage are travel gmts and can be purchased for less Those two are great watches
Beautiful video. With your color grading, it looks like the dial is more royal blue than teal. In reality, when you handle the watch, how would you describe the blue?
Thank you for your question! The video's white balance is adjusted using a calibrated neutral gray card, which should ensure accurate colors. However, variations may occur due to differences in monitors/screens, causing colors to appear warmer or cooler. Considering the dramatic lighting, I focus on the bright sunburst highlights and darker areas to simulate how the watch might appear in dimly lit environments such as a pub. Overall, I believe the video accurately represents the color of the watch in real life. I hope this is helpful to you 🍔🍺
Personally I prefer the Bader Bracelet. Is to shiny it distracts from the watch face. I don’t like over complicated links which in this case it seems it is.
You really can't go wrong with the bader; it's just classy and to the point elegant in its traditional simplicity Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts 🍔🍺
Color will vary based on your viewing device and lighting environment. My lighting is a bit more moody and dramatic So outside on a sunny day, it may be a bit lighter :) I hope this helps :)
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 Butterfly clasps are cool Especially if you can get the right fit Sadly, not everyone can get the right fit Thank you so much for taking the time to comment 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Didn’t realize there was no micro adjustments. That’s a big problem for me personally. Especially at this price. I had this at the top of my list for next watch. Now I’m second guessing that…
I think there are other bracelet options available on the CW website. So, you can probably find a bracelet or clasp that offers you a better fit. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment 🍺🍺🍺🍺
Not sure what you mean lol I do have a full time job making video games (I get paid really well too) This is why I can actually make content lol UA-cam and watches are not about money for me it’s about community and making art Thanks for taking the time to comment tho Helps the algorithm 😂🍺

Great review! Thumbs up given!👍🏽 One correction: You mentioned that the double flag logo (@ 5:37) is brushed steel, It's actually brushed rhodium!
Oh, shoot!
Thanks for the correction
I had no idea that's incredible, man
Thank you for taking the time to share that with me

I have just got this watch as I love the dial, but I got it with the Bader bracelet as I don’t like butterfly clasps. Still looks amazing though.
That's awesome
I'm glad you are enjoying your watch!
How do you like the Bader’s ratcheting clasp?
Looks nice 🍺
I just Ordered one of these .
With the true gmt you don't get a quick set date so it's give and take .
That's so cool. I hope you love it!!!
Please check in once you get it
I would love to hear your impressions once you have it on hand

Super thorough review with stunning videography… keep up the great work man!
Thank you so much, brother
I appreciate the compliment so much ❤️
You rock!

I like CW's peacock blue dial more than the blue sunburst dial on my Rolex Datejust!
I have not handled a Rolex yet
But I can tell you the CW Dial is excellent :)
Thanks for taking the time to comment
I appreciate it so much 🍺
Really good video. I'm going for the white dial coz it's more weareable and my plan it's to make it my daily watch
I think that's an excellent choice
In my Hart, white dials are as good as it gets, except for some minor exceptions 😆

Great review, I think the best I have seen.
Thank you brother
Let me know if you end up getting it. The White dial is quite good, too
Great review, I have one ordered, but I went with the bader bracelet instead. Watch dial also reminds me of the Z-Blue dial on the Role Migauss.
Yo!!!!
Thats awesome!
Congrats!
Let me know how you like it once you have it on hand!

Great watch but the best Blue dial of 2023 would be the Nomos Tangente Blaugold!
That's a tremendous blue dial, brother
I can't deny that 😅
Thanks for the tip, my friend!
