Asians flee logging site in Oro Province

16 Asians have fled from the Musa Foru Logging Area in the Northern Province after learning of the presence of the Joint Special Investigation Team that's in the province checking logging sites.
Only five Asians who remained at the site were taken to Popondetta town yesterday (Friday 21 August) by the Special Investigation team.
More discoveries were made when all vehicles, machines and logging equipment were all found to bear overseas registration numbers with no indication of PNG registration.
