It's a LOT of info regarding this board out there, but none addressing the real problems like You. I have taken the liberty to share Your vid. with struggeling programmers on some m. boards, where these problems have been addressed recently.

A small issue I faced. In serial monitor also you need to choose baud rate as 115200 on bottom right, else text shown is not readable.

Hi, I saw 5V power output as same as UNO.
Can we work use this 5V to sensors than back to Digital Input with 5V?
As I know ESP8266 only can work with 3V3.

I have R2 version of the board and found that the boards listed in the Arduino core json for version 2.5.0 only showed R1... Installed beta 3 version and can now select R2 board from the list (as well as mini and R1)
Everything now working as expected (blink and wifi scan)

Why only one analog pin in both nodemcu and this board ?.. So how can we connect multiple analog sensors to the board if required ??

I plug in Arduino but it not show in portable device CH340
