The only time you'd actively use the beach is to flank people lategame with a fast tank. The opportunity cost is simply too high in any other situation. Outside of that though, no. The majority of the time you simply need someone, anyone, to watch the beach to see what they've sent their and slow them down. The same logic goes for Mountain Pass' ice road or Lakeville's valley: you don't really use these flanks, but you need someone to keep the other team from waltzing right into your base through them.
@@ChainsawChuck13 Put short yes. But not when most people think. Most people will go down there straight away. The only time you would go down to the beach is when you need too. When the last enemies are down there and you need to go and kill them or if you want to flank the enemies later on in the game. The beach is basically useless, why? As long as you have people nearby the slopes that the enemies need to go up to get to the cap, you are safe. They can do nothing from down at the beach and they will just get farmed as they try and climb up. So never go down there at the start of the game. But if you feel that the beach is going to give you a chance at winning the game then that is the time to go to the beach.
@@MaxGamingFPS Thanks. (Surprisingly enough I had a game yesterday where I sarcastically told my teammates to go beach so I can "go from 1-for-7 to 1-for-8", but they ended up breaking through and winning. Incompetent enemies?)
@@ChainsawChuck13 Sounds like the enemies messed up bad, it's very easy to massacre the beach if none of your team is above. Got to also take into consideration that not everyone knows how to play the game so yes, I would put it down to the enemies just being worse that your team. Also maybe your team just had the better tanks for that situation?
the TD position around 17:30 is absolutly awful espeacially for a unarmored high TD... once you get spotted you cant stay save anywhere there.... you get blasted away there.
I would like your opinion on medium tanks going to D3 and C4 with the heavy tanks (using the ridge line to control the area between the small hill and the town)...I've had decent success in low tiers holding that angle and preventing enemy from taking the town as long as there is support. And if the town is secure using the spot you showed in 16:38 to support the heavies. Also I feel like I've had more success using D3 as south spawn compared to using C4 as north spawn.
So I know some people may disagree. Some people may agree but either way there’s two things number one where is this map in 2024 I miss it so much it’s my favorite map and number two when I’m in my EBR 90 I always camp out on the bridge and then I can snipe some people in spot them in. Normally it does work but a couple times unlucky.
So would the M10 RBFM be considered a slow TD or a fast one? I know it's a lot faster than some of the high-tier TDs but it just feels like it moves in slow motion sometimes.
Although it has okay mobility in a straight line, it’s sluggish and does not have armour. So it’s not worth going and playing somewhere that is open, always make sure that you have cover.
Apologies if it stuttered from time to time, it was a problem while recording.
What should the next map be?
Overlord. Is there ever a time or tank where using the beach is appropriate?

HT 12:38

Added to description, will do the rest for the other videos you commented on.
@@MaxGamingFPS I can do it for all of them, since they are extremely helpful for tomato me :P
"A bushy bush is the best kind of bush" I love it, I would have that painted down the side of my M10 if I could 😁
This map is beautyful … when there is no Arta !
Isn’t every map ;)
Thanks for your excellent guides.
