This would show perfectly how to rate light tanks, cause sure armor and gun handling are not the key aspects, but index shows only those
Among tier X light tanks, the larger vehicles have higher view range in order to compensate for being easier to hit and harder to conceal because of the size.
This largely holds true at tier VIII as well, with the even90 having lower view range than a vehicle like the HWK30.
Generally, the larger the light the easier to hit, the better the view range, the lower the camo.
The smaller the light, the harder to hit, the lower the view range, the better the camo.
I feel like this rule of thumb lets you get a pretty good idea of spotting ability straight away.

@@吳所事事-s9j agreed. As Skill showed in the video, he didn't even need vert stabs/IAU/vents to still be able to hit snap shots & fully aimed shots without any trouble. At the end of the day if you're playing a tank without any armor you need to stay safe and being able to hit those opportunistic shots is exactly what you need in that case!
That first battle just shows the quality of Skill turning a probable defeat into a victory 👌
first battle: when I play similarly on my Sheridan, everyone calls me a bot, why not spot... but Skieeeel can do whatever he wants and they give him a bravo anyway :|

In the maxed out setup you can have 43.3% camo, 526m viewrange and this combined with CVS in first slot.. EPIC spotting can be done.. I got 2 marked this tank. it is fun to play IMHO!
the thing is, the manticore has the almost the same requirements for 1 mark as the sheridan has for two and the second mark requirements are higher than the third for the sheridan.
@@leosalonen1564 that's because manticore is played by tryhard light tank mains, while sheridan is played by casual derpers
@@bricakeld6494 OP is saying that sheridan is good for spotting but pretty much everyone performs far better in a manticore so it is a moot point

Only noobs play with the wrong gun.
My 2nd loadout is Imp Opt, imp rammer, imp vents and it has 546m viewrange but the reload goes from 8.51 to 7.1s. So if you can use strong bush management to max your camo then the weak camo is nullified.

Who is supposed to believe this nonsense anymore? look at the hit rates: last game 12 shots, 12 direct hits, 12 penetrations. the other games not quite like that, but similar. where are the many rebounds or "it didn't go through" or.... . In my opinion there is unfair selling here.
Derp gun is what sheridan is for and it sadens me greatly how the derp gun is now useless.

I just play it as a Leopard that can spot a bit.. 105 is definitely more consistent, but the derp is more fun.
Skill must be paid by War Thunder... He test the real shit in WoT, then average players like me grind the line, buy the shit, hate the shit and the game, and try another way to waste money...
The derp gun is the only reason to play Sheridan, otherwise you can switch to Rhm. Pzw. Otherwise Sheridan shares the top base spotting range with Rhm. Pzw of 420m, it has weakish camo though, but not that bad to say that top spotting range tank is useless at spotting.
105mm is definitely the better gun 😊❤ maybe when HE was actually doing justice I would say 155mm derp gun ftw but unfortunately not lol
