Here are a few tips, feel free to make a video on it. Sorry if you don't understand some names because im not 100% sure how some things are called in english because i played polish version only. -If you talk to fulwgar before 5 am or something like that (when he is standing where he usually is at day time but there are no militia) you are going to get about 3% of 1 handed skill for free. -When the two farmers from Akil's farm that hate each other fight it's important to make Ehnim win because in chapter III he is going to talk about some sort of cave and will tell you how to open it. -It's good to leave one of the clothes from the storage shown in the video. If i remember well, they are the cheapest armor you can find in game, so it's worth leaving it for the hermit/eremite in Jarkendar. -There are a few ways to get the orcish weapon for Harad but the easiest one is to go as far as you can when you go hunting with bosper and kill the orc. It's good to don't talk to him after that and lure some goblins from nearby instead to get more exp because if you talk to him he goes back to the city. -In Jarkendar kill all the swamp rats on the way to pirate camp and then talk to Jack Aligator so they respawn. You can also kill all the swamp sharks in the bandit camp before starting the quest about them so they respawn too. -If you give 10 gold to that one Guard in front of one of the Khorinis' gates that offers you help if something attacks you and you tell him about mercenaries on Akil's farm you will get 50 exp. -You can literaly clear the entire island in chapter one and get lvl 18. Even all the tombs etc. You need a lot of scrolls and making enemies stuck while shooting at them (it's easiest to do with a dexterity build character). For example use shrink monster spell on the dragon snapper, kill the trolls by staying behind them and just hitting left at right (you can even kill the black troll at lvl 1, lol), use the spell that changes you to a dragon snapper to kill anything in the island (WARNING: you get all the xp while you do it but if you level up while using that spell [or any other spell that changes you into a monster] your health wont increase so it's wise to do it at a start of a fresh level that requires a lot of xp to beat) etc. This way you can even get the second most powerful weapon in the game strenght wise - Dragon Slicer (190 dmg 160 str, 2H) -You can take items from the secret tomb next to Omar's farm in chapter I because (if i remember well, i'm sure you can take things from here without fighting tho) there are weak skeletons that don't move and if you kill/attack them real skeletons spawn so if you don't touch them you should be fine. YOU CAN attack them and kill all the skeletons in chapter I with some freeze and fire rain spells but it's important to remember that they spawn a random number of skellys so it's good to try and save a couple of times until you get the most exp. -If you leave Rengaru after catching him he will give you some free dexterity in chapter III or V. -If you tell bandit that lures you into the bandit cave at the start of the game that cavalorn is coming you can talk to him again after having a conversation with the farmer that takes care of the sheeps and you will get some exp. -It's important to ask Zuris where does Constantino go to get his herbs because the ones needed to finish his quest will spawn after this conversation. -After you finish Constantino's quest you can buy back all the herbs you gave him in the trade inventory. -In chapter II in the mine valley/the old colony after you talk to Diego, you can beat him and and throw some powerful weapon on the ground. After he wakes up he will pick it up. If you heal him and take him with you he will destroy anything on his path (except maybe groups of dragon snappers, they are a pain in the ass). The best choice for a weapon would be the Dragon Slicer if you got it in chapter I. -When you level up your skills it works like this: (example on strenght, works same with % stats) 0-30 costs 1 learning point each, 31-60 2 each, 61-90 3 each etc. If you learn for example 25 strength, then 29 and then you learn +5 you will get 34 and you will save 4 learning points. Works with 31-60 and the rest too. -[SPOILER] Do not talk to Thekla before you become a mercenary/fire mage because if you do you won't get her soup for becoming one. Her soup gives +1 strenght and you can get it 5 times: for becoming a mercenary/fire mage, for bringing herbs from Thekla to Saggita, for beating Bulko, for taking Benneth out of prison and for killing the dragons. -[SPOILER] If you want to take Vatras to Ildorath and you want to open the gate in the old colony, invite him on the boat before you open the gate because after you do it he doesn't want to go with you. -You can steal a book from Lehmar that contains three people who need to give money to him. Each of these 3 will give you a diffrent reward if you give it to them. Two of them have a trade inventory, so if you give it to these two people and buy it from them you can get all the rewards and exp. -In jarkendar you can find some rings and amulets with similar names for example warrior's ring, warrior's amulet or something like that. If you wear full sets of these with the same names you will get bonuses. -Your stealing skills depend on your dexterity. Better to kill the dragon snapper by shooying him with a fireball then running to the god statue and Jump up on it and use a fire rain spell on him and save the shrink monster spell for the black troll

The guards will still want you to show them the herbs (or bribe them etc.) before letting you in giving you the basic XP for getting in.
I wasn't aware you could get stats from Daron, but that's probably because I never want to speak to him due to how slimy he is about giving you a blessing.

Another fun way to reach the leather armor: climb the wall behind Mattheo's house, place a digger meat mushroom there, stand on top of it (it's the only item with a collision that you can stand on), then jump onto the roof and down to the storage area. Without the mushroom the wall is too low to make the jump. xD
Maybe someone already said it but you can do a less risky parcour by climbing on the wall directly. There is a lower part behind the store that is a bit broken up if I remember correctly.
Here are more tips: -If you are playing Gothic II original (not night of the ravens), I remember it is possible to borrow 1000 gold from Lehma, you need to talk to Lares first, there is a dialogue option to ask him about Lehma. -Infinite gold from Pirate Camp. In the pirate camp, you can extort one of the pirates by selling him his journal for I think 500 gold. Knock him down and get back the journal and resell him endlessly. -Infinite gold & experience. In Onar's farm, there is this guy name Wassali who you can sell him old coins for exp and gold. Knock him down and oblivion him endlessly to resell him the old coins. I managed to get to level 50+ when I complete the game with several level ups coming from him. -Point of interest. If you join the water mages and start killing innocent people. When you talk to Vatras again, he will warn you for killing the innocents. You can tell him "Kiss my ass", and he will start attacking you.
- Free Runes. You can also get most of the level 5 & level 6 runes by killing any seeker with ice block. Make sure the seeker is killed by the deducting health effect of the ice block. This will save you a lot of skills points and blank runes if you play as a mage.
You can also glitch inside buildings by strafing into the corners of their walls or sometimes even their doors. For example at 2:19 you can clip inside the tower on your left and grab the swords in there. I've also used this to free the guy that's locked inside the tower next to Thorben's house before getting the key. It may take some time but if you keep strafing and swinging the camera eventually you will clip through any building. However that's mostly a glitch and not something a new player should be doing. I found out during my first playthrough and it broke many quests.

Easiest way to get into Mateo's storage area is from the smithy behind the storage area. Climb up onto the wall and then jump down. To leave, just walk past the guard. He won't stop you.
you can parkour to get to the hidden stash... however the easy way in is to side - step in... and there you go... no more parkour... but yeah... this game is awsome thanks for posting !!!
It should be said that in order to get the most out of the apples and black fungi is to use them after reaching the max traineble amount, same goes for the potions that increase stats. For an example after reaching 100 strength eat 25 apples to get to 101 and then use all strength potion.
If you don't care about loot, you can kill everything by turning into Dragon Snapper using the scroll. Transformation into monsters lasts forever. You can get a huge amount of EXP effortlessly as these monsters are very strong. --------------------------- When we want to get a few powerful runes for free, just freeze Seeker with a freezing spell when it has very little HP. When the ice kills him, search him and he will have all the runes he is using. This is an exploit as well as the sword forging bug. It is enough to learn to forge a weapon. Create several of the same weapons and put on one of the swords. During the sale, some of the swords will come back to us after they are sold. ---------------------------- Get to the city from the sea and you will get 500 EXP from Lares when you talk to him. The most profitable way to get to the city.
I know easier way to get loot from chests. Just drop any plant near wall behind matteo shop and stand on it. Then you can climb the wall and you are at home ;)
You don't even have to parkour for the armor, just sidestep into the area with a chest and the guard dialogue will start already inside, then exit the dialogue, take the armor and sidestep back into the street.
"5 useful things you didn't know" After thousands of hours in both gothic1 and 2, i doubt there is any secret left that I don't know yet 😆. But I still give your video a thumbs up. Pretty useful stuff for new players.

That doesn't work actually. You will get the bonus every second time you pay 50 gold, so it turns out to be the same as giving him 100 gold, just takes a bit more time..
Those tips are useful for beginners, but if you tell me somebody played this game multiple times and didn't know these... you didn't do it right. But at least the Daron thing I didn't know!

The best choice is to give Daron 100 gold everytime, you will recieve every bonus plus gain much more HP bonus than paying 200 gold.
1000 Gold in 50 Gold Steps is the best way to get Hit Points.
That doesn't work actually. You will get the bonus every second time you pay 50 gold, so it turns out to be the same as giving him 100 gold, just takes a bit more time..

@@mariutunio I checked it for you. If you spend in 50 gold steps you will get 85 Hitpoints, and in 100 gold steps only 40 Hitpoints :).
