Well done on the video mate, so enjoyable to watch. The adventure was with mick is always going to be a winner! Thanks for sharing the video. Loved the entertainment. Dive safe, have fun! 🙏👍🤗🐟
Great video mate - you hit the nail on the head with distracting yourself on the way down. I reckon the easiest way to stay focused is plan and visualise your dive on the surface during your breathup/relax routine. Imagine dropping down on the current side, hitting the mud and ducking in against the structure, visualise the school of fingers coming in with that that big lead fish out front. Now just get down there and wait. If it doesn't happen you can still smack a trevally on the way up when you know it's not going to spook the school of fingers.
Thanks for the response man! A lot of take always from this one that’s for sure. Visualisation is a big thing for me and another one of those things I’ll do for a while and then move away from it for some reason. It’s definitely time to bring it back!
Need this weather to sort itself out! Thanks mate, picked it up off market place. Did you notice the 4x4 awning I’ve mounted to the side of the shed? Quick easy shade when I need it haha.
@@ExhaleAdventures yep, noticed looks nice. Pity they don't have a nice cleaning station down at the Marina though with a gold coin donation to keep it maintained. My wife doesn't really like me cleaning fish at home. We'll have to go for a dive sometime, I'd like to learn a thing or two.
@ExhaleAdventures 2 days ago I had the same shot on a Spanish mackerel on your latest video and as soon as I got my hands on it's neck the shaft fell , it was an amazing feeling 😅
Awesome spearing dude, like watching your adventures great use of a 4b canopy! Favourite filleting knives and how you sharpen them? Ive spent hundreds on knives and sharpeners and Im still not happy but not sure what I'll try next, thinkin swibo
I’ve waited until I was home before I replied to this. I had too double check my knives haha. Skinning Knife is a Swibo 5.8433.31, it’s long, strait and nice and stiff. Filleting knife is Swibo 5.8404.16 Semi Flexible. I more prefer the slightly stiffer filleting blade, rather than those really flexible ones. But that’s just me. I have a sharpening stone that I picked up from the butcher supply shop and a steel. I’m keen to find a better sharpening option though. I can get a pretty good edge but definitely could be way better.
@ExhaleAdventures cheers for the model numbers! I have been looking at those exact knives. Seems like I'm in the same place I can get a pretty good edge but get the feeling it could be better/sharper and last longer. Hope ya get out this weekend cheers
100% fav channel. Keep it going!
Wow, thanks! I’ll definitely keep trucking along with it. Thanks again, it means a lot getting comments like this 🍻

The depth you're diving in would be of interest when editing too...??
Thanks for checking the vid out mate. I could definitely mention the depth a bit more often 👍
