Thomas. Great ideas , young man. Unconventional content. Good explanations. I can see in your posts that you make your own jigs, tools ,etc. awesome. There’s a lot of satisfaction to be had in coming up with your own tools and using them. Thanks for not impressing me with your $12,000 table saw. And the Diablo blades work just fine, don’t they. Keep it coming.
I enjoyed the videos you have posted so far…and thanks for including the failures as well: we all make them and it’s always instructive to see someone’s failure analysis and redesign to fix it. Keep posting and best of luck!
That is a brilliant idea! I was thinking of making sliding blocks as a base for a height adjustable mini drill table, but your solution with the dovetail and the screw to lock it in placed is WAY BETTER!! Thank you for sharing. I also like your other inventions. You have a very creative mind.
I got tired of cutting spacer blocks of random sizes for when I needed them (off-setting something from the fence, holding a shelf at the right height to then run in screws, etc.) I noticed machinists use metal versions of these to move material very precisely vertically when they lock something into a milling machine vise. I figured I could just make them out of wood. They're more useful than I would have thought! Thank you for the feedback!
Regarding the riddle... One guess is that a rumor sounds louder the further away it travels, because more people are speaking it. And you didn't say it has to sound louder to you. Although, I suppose an avalanche could also sound louder the further away it travels, assuming you're at the top of the mountain.
You narrated this cleverly

Very well made video but
What are they for?

@@thomasaoki748 Thank you.
I have these for my metal shop (in toolsteel) .... there are so many uses for these that if you made your self a set, I guarantee you'd not regret it

Is the answer an echo?
Your mother. (My actual attempt at the riddle.)
